The OVO Network team’s opinion -

If you want to easy access to great mountain sports as well as the shops, bars and restaurants of a busy mountain resort, Chalet Julero could be just what you're looking for.

This modern, three-storey chalet sleeps up to 10 adults and two children in five stylish bedrooms, three of which have en suite shower rooms. There is also a large family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, perfect for families with young children. Four of the bedrooms have double beds, and the fifth has a double bed with two built-in bunk beds with shelving.

The open-plan living area is a great place to get together in the evenings. Three sets of sliding doors flood the room with light and open on to a wraparound terrace where you can soak up the sun or perhaps enjoy a bit of star-gazing. There's a huge L-shaped sofa in front of the TV and a dining table that makes the most of the views.

The well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, and the breakfast bar is a great place to enjoy a drink before dinner.

But perhaps the highlight of this stylish chalet is the spa area, with a shower, sauna and a hot tub in front of doors to the garden for that indoor/outdoor feel. What ever time of year you choose to visit, it's a great place to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day in the mountains.

Chalet Julero is  less than 2km from the family-friendly resort of Le Grand Bornand, and with the ski bus stopping just a short walk from the door, you can choose whether or not to use your car. There's room for one car in the garage and three more outside the chalet.

Modern and Spacious Chalet with Great Amenities

Great chalet just outside of town. The chalet looks brand new and includes a fully stocked kitchen and a spa. There are balconies all around the chalet. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We would be happy to come back. Furthermore, the owner is very nice and responsive. All in all, it's a great option when skiing in LGB, as we did. The bus stop is literally in front of the house.

Séjour de rêve au Chalet Julero

Chalet bien situé, pas très loin du village. Il est bien desservi, avec la navette qui passe à proximité immédiate. Vue magnifique avec en bonus le bruit du ruisseau qui coule en face, ce qui est très reposant. Le chalet est très beau, à la fois à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Il est très bien agencé, propre et confortable. Le service est impeccable. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et disponibles. Le chalet dispose d’un sauna, d’un jacuzzi, d’une terrasse et d’un barbecue extérieur. Nous étions 7 personnes et avons occupé toutes les chambres pour un séjour de 7 jours et 6 nuits en hiver, du samedi au vendredi. Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve au Grand Bornand et le chalet Julero y est pour beaucoup !

Un séjour inoubliable dans une demeure d'exception avec des prestations de qualité, des matériaux de qualité et une vue à couper le souffle sur les Aravis. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et réactifs. Pouvoir visiter la ferme et découvrir la fabrication du reblochon est un réel plaisir. L'emplacement du chalet est très pratique avec un arrêt de bus desservant directement les pistes de ski.
