Fabulous location - perfect property

Fabulous stay in this beautiful property. Huge room, beautifully warm (it was -1 outside). Lovely breakfast room on lower level. We were starting a Camino walk - only 100 metres from the Cathedral - close to restaurants, perfect location.

Poor furnishings, ridiculous breakfast.

The location is good -- very close to the cathedral and some excellent restaurants. The room itself is quite bad, there are about a dozen glaring inadequacies. To name a few: It has no window, the only way to get fresh air is through a door that opens to a semi-public courtyard. It does not have enough lamps/lightbulbs and the room is very dark at night. It does not have even a single decent chair for sitting. The faucet in the toilet is similar to what they use in public toilets -- you have to keep pressing it to keep the water flowing. The breakfast is extremely miserly even by French standard -- only bread and nothing else, not even a piece of cheese, fruit or egg. Well, they do let you have coffee or tea. It is only attractive if you really want to stay in a ‘historic’ building and do not eat breakfast.

Lovely room in historic building

Truly beautiful room in a 14th century building with a wonderful proprietor. A clearly artistic hand created this comfortable room. We highly recommend.

Magnifique chambre familiale dans une tour du 15ème siècle rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Emplacement parfait à 100 mètres de la cathédrale et de nombreux restaurants. Accueil très chaleureux. Le caveau pour diner (à emporter) était super !
