Nice location but disappointing facilities

The house was advertised as four bathrooms but in reality had only one proper shower. The 'en suite' had no toilet. Two out of the four rings on the cooker hob did not work. There were no house instructions and VRBO description did not specify additional charge for bedding and towels. Could not work any of the TVs. Lovely garden though and plenty of recliners. Peaceful location apart from building work next door.

Belle maison la lisiĂšre de la forĂȘt

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© avec ma famille dans cette trĂšs belle maison. Malheureusement la mĂ©tĂ©o n’était pas de notre cĂŽtĂ©, mais nous avons pu profiter de la belle cheminĂ©e. Nous avons mĂȘme eu la chance de voir deux biches se promener dans le jardin. La maison offre tout le confort que l’on a besoin et Francis le propriĂ©taire a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs sympathique!

L’emplacement est parfait, en pleine forĂȘt, au calme, avec de temps en temps la visite de chevreuils dans le beau jardin. La maison est agrĂ©able et a tout ce qu il faut (mĂȘme si lĂ  nous avons manquĂ© d’un four qui Ă©tait cassĂ©) mais a besoin d’une petite modernisation Ă  l’étage (les chambres sont vieillottes). La parfaite maison de vacances

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© 4 jours en famille dans cette trĂšs jolie maison et nous y avons passĂ© un merveilleux moment. Le jardin est trĂšs grand et une partie donne sur un petit bois : un vĂ©ritable havre de paix. La maison est bien entretenue et trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  l’intĂ©rieur Ă©galement. Elle est bien Ă©quipĂ©e, il faut juste penser Ă  prendre tout ce qu’il faut pour la cuisine (sel, huile, sacs poubelle, produit pour le lave-vaisselle). Nous serions ravis d’y sĂ©journer de nouveau !

The property was as described, wonderful location in the forest, ideal for the children to play and the visiting deer really made it for the children. Our only problem was that we could not speak French and the housekeeper could not speak English but we managed!!
