Whiskey Mountain Lodge is a beautifully themed, spacious cabin atop Terry Peak, located in the Terry Valley subdivision just 2 blocks from the ski lodge. Built in 2015 and recently upgraded, this cabin sleeps up to 12 guests and features modern amenities, fun entertainment options, and a cozy lodge atmosphere. Enjoy the brand new 6-8 person private hot tub, natural gas fireplace, air hockey table, and multiple living spaces while taking in stunning Black Hills views.

This is a beautiful area of the Black Hills. It is on the Terry Peak Ski Area - over 6000 ft elevation. The scenery is beautiful.

Cabin was really nice. Had problems with refrigerator not keeping food cold and was only supplied 3 rolls of TP for a two bedroom house and 12 people. Owner was excellent in communication. Would still book with them again.

clean, exactly what we wanted, perfect for our entire group, even had coupons for Lewie's and we LOVE Lewie's. only issue we had was with the A/C. it was set at 79 when we got there and never came on, when we contacted them they said we had froze it up? not sure how since it wasn't working to begin with BUT the nights were cool and we were gone most of the days with our activities so it didn't affect our stay! would stay again!

Cute cabin, had everything we needed…small kitchen for 7 adults and 5 children…we did have troubles with it getting hot in there and the refrigerator wasn’t very cold either…the water dispenser and ice machine wasn’t working also…other than that we had a great stay…would recommend to others…Thank You!

Great ski vacation

Very nice rental property within a 2 minute drive to Terry Peak. 15 minutes to Deadwood. Everything was as pictured. Kids loved the hot tub after skiing. We skied 3/18,3/19,3/20 and had some really nice fresh snow. Skid steer came by 9a to clear driveway so we could get out. Super nice guy. There is a Keurig as well as a drip coffee machine. Would stay here again. Thanks for having us.

Our first VRBO in the hills

Over a great location. The neighborhood is beautiful and nice and close to Terry Peak, with a short drive to town for groceries. The decor is a little outdated, but that is the only thing I have bad to say about it. Hot tub was great, and the overall set up of the cabin was great for as many people as we had staying there.

Great weekend away

The property was just as described and was very easy to find. It was well appointed and suited our group well. A few items needed tending to…the air hockey table was not working but we were able to still use it. Also, the main TV did not work for the first 2 nights of our stay. We contacted the host and followed all directions. It continued to not work but somehow, it started working the final night. Other than those small issues the rest of the stay was great. A cozy property that made great memories for our friends and family.

Great cabin! Peaceful surroundings.

This cabin was just what we were looking for! The surrounding area was so calm and peaceful- we really enjoyed the quiet while sitting out on the deck. The dining area was small for all 8 of us to sit for meals but we just divided up and sat at the table and on the deck.

We actually didn’t end up staying at this property but stayed at a property in Powder House Pass due to an issue with this property. The home we were in was AMAZING!! But the even better part was the communication from Jonna and Deadwood Connections regarding the switch of homes. Totally recommend them in this whole process. Beautiful home, out of the way.

There were fans blowing on the basement carpet, we were told because of a heavy rain, but that caused the basement to smell. No bother really, no one slept in the basement. Location was a bit far from everything we were interested in, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hill City, Keystone, but super close to Deadwood and a decent distance from Spearfish. Property manager was awesome, we had an issue come up late at night, she did her best to rectify that evening, couldn’t, but got it taken care of the next day. Two of the four mornings we were there, we were woken up by the sounds of docks being moved around the property by heavy equipment. One morning it was a load of boulders dumped by a dump truck and then two mornings later, woken by the sound of a skid loader moving those boulders around the property. I would have liked to at the very least had a heads up that would be happening, and would’ve preferred it hit happen at all.
