First Direct arena stop over

I was visiting the first direct area to watch Peter Kay , this hotel is very close. So a perfect location. Friendly checking in and friendly cleaning lady . The room had all that I needed for an evening stop over . With some added quirky decor . Only really negatives were TV buffered for a lengthy period and remote had a missing battery cover , the view from my room was a car park.

Lovely hotel and staff. Only criticism is that we were in a room for 2 people and only 2 towels. One towel per person not enough, should be minimum of one to dry the body and one to wrap the hair when washed.

Perfect for city stay

Stayed overnight for visit to First Direct Arena. Perfect location for Arena and city centre. Great room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was varied, good value, but had to wait for refill of some items. Definitely recommend.

We’ve stayed at this ibis before for a concert in the near bye venues, however this time around we were extremely disappointed with the breakfast, which we had included in our booking. The coffee machines were broken, the breakfast food its self was not great either, we didn’t try the restaurant for dinner so can’t comment on it for this. But I definitely would not recommend paying extra for the breakfast and go elsewhere. There were also a few exposed cables hanging down from the mirror in the bathroom and the radiators, it just needed a little TLC I think. However, the hotel was easy to check in to, staff were helpful and friendly. The room itself was large, pleasantly decorated and it was clean.

A comfortable but short stay

Friendly member of staff available for my late check in. Everything explained to me sufficiently. A comfortable modern hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room a nice temperature, shower was a good pressure and nice to have some basic toiletries supplied. Would stay again.

I have stayed a few times for business over the past few months as I travel to teach in Leeds. Lexi on the front desk is always efficient and helpful. I recall that she helped me check in early last time as I was caught in the rain and coming down with a cold, so I was able to rest and dry off.

Hotel is perfectly situated near city centre. O2 Leeds for gigs, restaurants & tourist spots. The check in & out is easy & efficient. My room was really clean great lay out & just generally cool... very comfy bed and quiet. Will return here definately
