Moonset Vista offers sweeping lake views and an unbeatable location just steps from the beach and a short walk to the Mushroom Pool. With space for up to 14 guests, this home is ideal for multiple families gathering together.

Expansive windows throughout allow you to enjoy beautiful water views from nearly every room. The main level features a large kitchen that opens to the living and dining areas, with seating for 14 including the bar. A gas fireplace creates the perfect setting for cozy evenings in.

Two large decks provide plenty of space for outdoor dining and entertaining, while big-screen TVs downstairs and in the living room make movie nights and game days easy. Sleeping arrangements include four Queen beds, one Full bed, and two pullout sofas.

Chesnut Bay has 2 Beach Areas with Chairs and Umbrellas furnished . Boat and Jet Rentals on Site. 2 Pools, Basketball court and Swing set for the kids. Free Kayaks, water bicycles also on the Great Escapes side there is 2 playgrounds , basketball court, ice cream shop, gift shop, waterpark, jumping pillow, corn hole, horse shoes.

Chesnut Bay Resort and Great Escapes RV resorts and Pirates Bay Waterpark are nestled in a small community on Weiss Lake in Leesburg , Alabama.



Getting Around:

Great Escapes rent golf carts for 75.00 @ day and you have to be 21 years old to rent one and 18 to drive. No outside

golf carts are allowed. We are only a short distance to Dollar General in Leesburg and 10 minutes from Walmart. We have several local food recomendations.

Lake getaway

This is a beautiful home right next to the lake with boat ramp access, boat dock and relaxing view from the large covered patio. Large 2-car garage but limited space for large trucks. Plenty of nice bathrooms, large kitchen. We had eight adult men for a weeks stay on a work trip with no issues.
