Blending subtly into gentle hillside surrounds on the scenic west coast of Lefkada, with tantalising glimpses through ancient olive groves to the sparkling Ionian Sea, Dioni is one of a select trio of immensely attractive properties to enjoy this privileged and desirable location.
Behind the elegant façade we find a well-appointed interior where a mixture of snow-white walls and honey-coloured stone elements, complemented by Amtico-style wood tiled flooring, creates a warm inviting and refreshing home all tastefully decorated with comfortable, high quality furnishings.

Reminiscent of the renowned abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky, colourful and original artworks crafted by the talented owner of Dioni, add a very personal touch to the attractive open plan living/dining area. A kitchen, family shower room and a lovely double bedroom with en-suite facilities occupy the remaining space of the ground floor and there is convenient direct access to the garden/pool area from both sides of the house on this level.

Upstairs we discover the principal bedroom with en suite shower room and private balcony, the perfect spot from which to observe the ever-changing colour palette created by the azure seascape converging with the silvery-green treeline. A delightfully quirky twin bedroom, set mezzanine-style beneath the timber beamed pitch of the roof, completes the sleeping accommodation of this characterful property.

Step outside to lounge under the pergola, cool off in the private swimming pool, grill tasty local produce on the barbecue, linger over a meal on the inviting terraces or just enjoy the pretty landscaped garden - whatever your preference Dioni’s relaxing environs are ideal.

Less than a kilometre away, the small town of Tsoukalades has good everyday amenities that include minimarkets, a fresh bakery, coffee shops and tavernas. Within a 10-15 minute drive Pefkoulia, Paralia and (part-naturist) Gaidaros are just three of the many beautiful beaches for which the western coast of Lefkada is renowned.

The mezzanine-style twin bedroom is not suitable for very young children.
