We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was walkable to a lot of activities as well as the train station. It was very quiet and comfortable, and we were very glad we chose that apartment to stay.

Improvements needed

This apartment did not fully meet our expectations, since the one designated bedroom was way too narrow to feel comfortable in. There was not even room enough for a nightstand at even just one side of the bed. The wooden floors crack loudly with every step so much so that it can wake up others in the apartment. Important to know: access to the apartment is via a steep, curving old staircase, which would not work for people with any walking issues.

Short stay in Leipzig

Our visit to Leipzig was for 2 nights and the apartment, in an English Language school, met all our needs. We were 3 adults and with 2 bedrooms meant that we had some privacy. The place was immaculately clean, well equipped, good wifi and in a quiet area of town. We chose to walk to and from the station using the very clear directions given as the distance did not warrant a taxi. Heather allowed us to enter the apartment early as our train from Berlin arrived mid morning. At all times there was prompt response to any communication prior to our visit. Heather was very welcoming, and as she lived in the same building she was available when and if we needed her, which we didn’t! Happily recommend the apartment.

Nice apartment in good location

Nice apartment in a good location. Spacious and well decorated, the place is perfect for a small family. Close to Clara-Zetkin Park and Karli (Karl-Liebknecht Strasse), shops, groceries, restaurants. trams, s-bahn (Bayerisher Bahnhof). All within 5-15min walking distance. The hosts are very nice and check in/check out was quick and convenient. Only minor drawbacks are slow internet and creaky floors.

Sehr schönes Quartier abseits der großen Straßen. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man sehr viele Sehenswürdigen innerhalb weniger Minuten bequem erreichen. Die Vermieter sind freundlich, die Kommunikation vor der Anreise war top.

Schöne Städtetour

Tolle Wohnung, Zentrum in 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe, aber auch auf dem Wochenmarkt am alten Rathaus kann man sich versorgen. Mit dem Fahrrad schnell an Elster und Pleiße und von da weiter ins Neusseenland. Gastgeber wohnen mit im Haus, sehr nett, gute Kommunikation.

Alt-Wohnung sehr grosszügig, viel Platz und herrlich knarrende Dielen. Die Lage ist perfekt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Es hat alles, was man braucht, auch in der Küche. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gang und Hinterhof sind etwas vernachlässigt, aber ich war sehr froh um den gedeckten Fahrradunterstand.

Nette Altbau-Wohnung in Klasse-Lage

Großzügige, gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit individueller Einrichtung in sehr ruhiger, aber zentraler Lage. Nette Vermieter. Wir waren fünf Nächte in der Wohnung und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Einzig das etwas schmale Doppelbett ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, wir kamen damit aber auch klar. Die Lage in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße nahe dem Bayrischen Bahnhof ist perfekt. Ausgehviertel in Connewitz und Innenstadt fußläufig erreichbar. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ideale Basis für die Erkundung der Stadt

Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns nichts. Von der Wohnung aus sind es 200 m zur S-Bahnstation. Die Karl-Liebknecht-Straße ist in 5 Minuten erreicht. Was will man mehr? Wir nichts!
