Stay in our bright loft apartment just 9 minutes from Interlaken and a 3-minute walk to Lake Thun. Located right in the village center, shops and a bus stop (to Spiez & Interlaken) are only steps away.
The top-floor apartment features one bedroom with a queen bed, a second queen in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, comfy sofa corner with TV, bathroom, washer and a balcony with mountain views.

Welcome to our bright and comfortable loft apartment in Leissigen, a charming lakeside village just 9 minutes from Interlaken. Whether you’re here to explore the mountains, enjoy the lake, or simply relax, our place offers the perfect base for your Swiss getaway.
🌊 Fantastic Location:
* Only 3 minutes’ walk to Lake Thun, where you’ll find a swimming area and a small beach restaurant in summer.
* Right in the heart of the village – grocery shopping and local amenities are just a short stroll away.
* Free parking in front of the house, or come easily by public transport – there’s a bus stop only 3 minutes away, with regular connections to Spiez and Interlaken.
* Great access to famous destinations like Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, and popular ski areas such as Wengen and Adelboden.
🏠 The Apartment: Our cozy top-floor loft (please note: stairs access only, no elevator, three floors up) has everything you need for a comfortable stay:
* 🛏️ 1 closed bedroom with a queen-size bed
* 🛋️ Living room with another queen bed (can be separated into two twin beds upon request)
* 🍳 Fully equipped kitchen to prepare family meals
* 🍽️ Dining area and sofa corner with TV for cozy evenings in
* 🛁 Bathroom with bathtub/shower
* 🌅 Balcony with beautiful mountain and village views

The apartment is for the guests private use. The staircase is shared with the neighbors at the building. There is a private parking for one car
The attic, which is accessed through a small door in the apartment, is my private storage space. Please do not enter it
I live about 40 min driving distance away from the apartment. I am very happy to assist through the Airbnb app with anything that I can help with
This is a very quiet neighborhood in close walking distance from the lake Thun. Within a few min walking distance there is the beach area that offers a small bar during the summer months as well as lake access for swimming and stand up paddling. There is a small supermarket about 150 meter from the apartment that is open 7/7.
A bus connects to Interlaken and Spiez - each bus is one per hour (during early morning hours and early evening hours, it is twice per hour).
Leissigen offers the small village feeling, right at the lake, close to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald.
You will get a guest card - Panorama Card - for the Lake Thun area. It allows you to use buses to Spiez, Thun and Interlaken and around the lake for free. It gives you some discounts in local attractions as well
There is a bus connecting Leissigen to Interlaken and Spiez. There you have access to the trains.
By car you reach Interlaken in 10 min.
Must climb stairs, apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. This is our family vacation apartment which we are happy to share with guests who appreciate the area and the place.
Please note that we cannot store luggage. We usually have back to back reservations. There is luggage storage at the train stations
When booking, please make sure to put the correct guest count. The price varies according to the amount of guests staying. We will prepare the apartment based on the amount of guests booked
No unregistered guests on property
Close windows and doors whenever you leave the apartment (summer - sudden changes in weather/ winter - we are heating)
Please respect quiet hours - the other apartments are occupied by residents. No talking on the balcony or noise in the apartment after 10 pm.
Take off shoes in the apartment and do not roll suitcases - please carry them. To avoid noise
