Meadow Barn has two bedrooms, one double room with an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC, and one double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. There’s an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with a range with electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and kettle, a dining area and sitting area with a Smart TV. Amenities include oil central heating, WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen and towels. Outside there’s off-road parking for 3 cars, a non-enclosed front garden with gravel, furniture and barbecue and an enclosed rear garden with gravel. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop and pub in 6 miles. Meadow Barn is an ideal base for your next family trip. Please note: this property only allows bookings starting on a Monday or a Friday.
The Neighborhood:
Leominster is located in the heart of the beautiful border countryside, where England and Wales nudge each other along Offa’s Dyke. Dating back to the 7th Century, the town of Leominster possesses some fine examples of architecture such as the Priory Church, along with a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs, and is the ideal place in which to spend a lazy afternoon strolling around in pleasant surroundings. Nearby is the smaller market town of Tenbury Wells situated on the banks of the River Teme. Dating back to the Iron Age and said to have been called 'my little town in the orchard' by Queen Victoria, Tenbury Wells boasts a unique 18th century bridge built by Thomas Telford, the magnificent Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and many other listed buildings dating back to the 17th century. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm are well worth a visit. Sample Herefordshire's famous cider or discover Hereford with it's fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books while nearby Bromyard has an air of timelessness with many half-timbered buildings, helping visitors relax amongst a good range of pubs, restaurants and shops. The pretty medieval market town of Ludlow makes a great day out, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle, and also within easy reach are Ironbridge and Hay-on-Wye. The magnificent Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons National Park and stunning Malvern Hills also make a great day out.
