The place is quite a bit more than "a few steps" from the beach. It's a 12-15 minute walk from the apartment to the beach, depending on the route that you take. Also, it was initially very difficult to get someone to respond to my messages. I wrote using the VRBO platform, and no one responded for nearly 24 hours. The place is indeed quiet, and there are a couple of windows that look outside rather than to the interior hallway, and those are nice - but you are a meaningful walk/distance from the beach.
