Excellent location near the edge of the village, with good spa facilities and a top notch breakfast.
Overall a vey high quality hotel. However, I had half board and although the quality of the food was excellent , I would have thought that dinner should give some options on the menu. They were happy to provide alternative if I had asked during the day. Butter should given with the bread instead having to ask each time. An additional cheese dish at 22 euros is a little expensive.
Chalet Mounier stands as the pinnacle of luxury hotel experiences, with its unparalleled service and attention to detail making it the best I've ever stayed in. The daily dining experiences are culinary masterpieces, blending traditional and modern flavors to create unforgettable meals. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff's exceptional professionalism and warmth, attending to every need and surpassing all expectations. Chalet Mounier is not just a hotel, but a haven of luxury, making it a highly recommended destination for anyone seeking an extraordinary stay.
All I can say is absolutely amazing!
I had a problem with a booking from another hotel and walked in trying to get a room for the week. The receptionist couldn’t do enough to help me, loved my stay here and if I’m ever back I will definitely return, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
We stayed at Chalet Mounier in first week of January, 1 adult and 2 pre-teens. It felt like a safe haven away from the party nightlife of the resort. We loved the bar, it has traditional board games, my two were actively asking to go and play these games rather than play on their devices - it made for a real change and some shared laughter!
We weren’t half board and only ate in the hotel one evening - our last night - one of the boys is a vegetarian, adjustments were made to the set meal to accommodate. Really wish we had ate in there before but I had been put off by some of the other reviews by other vegetarians, all the meals were amazing and both boys wished they could relive the experience all over again. Be aware that if you’re not half board you do need to book the restaurant in advance.
The only thing I would offer as feedback is the Wi-Fi is very unstable - not an issue if you’re on holiday and trying to get away from it all.
We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet Mounier. We had a two-floor suite that was immaculate and well-appointed. Spending time downstairs in the chalet itself was wonderful and relaxing with amazing food and drinks in a peaceful atmosphere. We came with our two teenagers who enjoyed skiing and paragliding. The front desk staff was amazing in setting up all the activities as well as our transfers to and from Grenoble. The town itself was gorgeous and quiet this time of year. We also ate at Le P'tit Polyte and had an amazing several-course meal with superb food and service. We will definitely be back.
The hotel was great. Has a very qualified services in all areas. The personnel is so warm and food is absolutely incredible as the restaurant staff. I can say it is one of the better hotels with meals included we have been.
Excellent hotel. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make the experience wonderful. We enjoyed the bar, the restaurant and the spa all of which were lovely. And the shuttle service was really useful.
Cadre magnifique. Personnel très complaisant. Prestations haut de gamme

Total scam 😤 they should stop their scam breakfast business! Here is the story:
- i booked bed&breakfast
-i confirmed at the check in that breakfast was included. All good!
Here is the tricky part and where they scam people:
- they have only one breakfast area and they serve buffet.
- as everyone else, we went there also to eat and no one informed us that there are 2 breakfasts : buffet and regular…
- and apparently only regular is included in the booking…again, not mentioned anywhere
We are not breakfast people and sometimes we just ate 1 egg and bread for 20 EUROS per person. Because they didnt inform us that the buffet is extra and there is also a “hidden” regular breakfast.
Btw. The buffet breakfast is quite small and not worth 20Euros for sure 😤😤😤
