Mixed bag

Les Houches was a lovely place to stay. The property manager responded quickly and accommodated a change of dates for us. The property was clean, comfortable, and homely. We had some wifi issues which were tricky to resolve as we were only there over the weekend. One significant point to make is that the driveway to get to the property is quite steep with a very sharp bend. The listing says this driveway is heated, and it is, but if you arrive or need to leave before ice/snow has thawed, it is treacherous. My family and I had to salt and shovel the drive for about 30 minutes to get out one morning, and we were working hard to do it in that time. From then on had to park a few minutes walk away in a public car park to avoid the risk of not being able to get out of the property by car before the afternoon when the ice and snow melts from the heated driveway. This is significant if you are intending to stay during the winter.In general, the management company responded quickly, and the stay was pleasant, but the icy/dangerous driveway is a major factor to consider.

Appartement agréable, avec un très grand balcon et sa vue magnifique sur l'aiguille du midi.Il est dans une petite résidence à taille humaine ,et tres calme. Excellent confort pour 4 personnes , avec 2 chambres de chaque côté de l'appartement, la literie est confortable, et il y a 2 salles de bain et 2 WC .Le linge de maison est fourni ,et il y a aussi des produits managers de base. Bon équipement, four multifonctions, lave-vaisselle , grille-pain ,grand frigo, et garage pour la voiture. Le seul point négatif est la proximité de la 4 voies qui passe en contre-bas et qui reste bruyante la journée....mais on finit par s'habituer....

Il manque également des bols ou grands mugs pour le petit déjeuner. Il n'y a pas d'éclairage au niveau du salon (défaillant),et pas non plus sur le balcon ( excepté une petite lumière d'ambiance qui s'allume avec les mouvements et s'éteint ttes les 5 minutes....il faut donc se lever ttes les 5 mns pour la redéclencher....) ,les autres lampes ne font que de la décoration , ça n'éclaire rien ,pas du tout suffisant pour manger sur le balcon les soirs d'été..... Et le must serait une machine à café avec des dosettes comme partout maintenant....

Appartement récent, moderne, calme à proximité des commerces

La vue exceptionnelle sur le mont Blanc et sur la vallée de Chamonix. La présence d'un garage Chambre adulte : - le rideau n'est pas occultant (réveillés dés la levée du jour) - mettre des oreillers à la place des traversins Cuisine : - Pas de bols pour déjeuner ( récipients en plastique) - Manque de vaisselle : obligé de lancer le Lave vaisselle après chaque repas - Manque une cafetière - Manque un four micro onde (pratique pour réchauffer) - Pas de store sur la fenêtre (côté cuisine, en vis à vis direct avec le parking) - Poubelle trop petite pour un logement de 4 à 6 personnes Balcon : - pas de chaises donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter du très grand balcon - nettoyer le sol du balcon : présence de poussières de ciment (idem dans le garage) Salle de bain : - présence d'une machine à laver
