Surrounded by French garrigue and olive trees, this charming 2-bedroom villa in Les Mages is perfect for families or groups of up to 6 guests. The traditional stone house has been beautifully renovated in French style and features a private swimming pool, a fenced garden, and multiple terraces—including one covered—for relaxing outdoors. The cozy living room with a wood stove and TV adds warmth, while wood heating throughout the house ensures comfort year-round.

The villa is extremely child-friendly, offering a playroom, outdoor play equipment, and a table tennis table. The ground-floor bedroom is accessible from outside, and the well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit vakantiehuis. Al op dag één strandde onze auto vlak na aankomst, maar Pierre en Nicole hebben ons ontzettend lief geholpen: met boodschappen, ons naar boven brengen en het communiceren met de hulpdiensten. Daar zijn we ze nog steeds heel dankbaar voor. Het huis zelf is fantastisch: ’s avonds heerlijk koel, met een prachtig zwembad en een schitterend uitzicht. We hebben genoten van de jeu-de-boulesbaan en konden ondanks de pech toch volledig tot rust komen. Wat ook erg fijn was: wat spullen die we per ongeluk hadden achtergelaten werden zonder probleem en heel vriendelijk nog met de post nagestuurd. We hopen hier zeker nog eens terug te komen!

Na een hartelijke begroeting en een vlotte sleuteloverdracht met rondleiding, zijn we begonnen met het genieten van onze eerste indrukken ,zoals de rust en de geweldige omgeving. Pierre is een zeer sympathieke man, die samen met zijn vrouw ons meteen een thuis gevoel bezorgde. Als je van rust houdt dan zijn er weinig plaatsen zoals deze,in werkelijkheid was alles ook vele malen beter dan verwacht, vandaar ook 5 sterren. Kers op de taart is natuurlijk het zwembad, hierdoor hebben onze kinderen ook een geweldige tijd doorgebracht. Natuurlijk was er ook alles aanwezig zoals vermeld op de site.En het huis was opvallend schoon. Nogmaals Pierre bedankt voor de geweldige ervaring in Les Mages.

Vriendelijk ontvangst, fijn en net huis met geweldig uitzicht. De bbq is ook een pluspunt. De omgeving is niet zozeer toeristisch druk, maar mooi en genoeg te doen. De bakker is op loopafstand, supermarkt vlakbij. Veel privacy en een fijn zwembad met heerlijke temperatuur. WiFi niet sterk, maar dat geeft ook vakantierust. Er is geen airco, wel ventilator.

Très belle villa perdue dans les hauteurs d'un petit village. Calme et repos avec belle piscine. Propriétaires charmants et à l'écoute. Rien à redire... si ce n'est de compléter un peu plus les ustensiles de cuisine et notamment une machine à café de type NESPRESSO... A recommander...

Wij hebben een hele fijne week achter de rug, in een fantastische omgeving en in een zeer aangenaam vakantiehuis. Dit huis is perfect voor vier volwassenen (of een gezin met tienerkinderen). Prachtig zwembad, alles heel goed onderhouden! Heel goed ontvangen, wij zijn een uurtje vroeger gearriveerd en we zijn onmiddellijk door de huiseigenaars ontvangen.

De ligging kan misschien aanzien worden als afgelegen (650m onverharde baan), maar het uitzicht en de rust die je ervoor terugkrijgt zijn die moeite meer dan waard. De bakker (centrum Les Mages) kan je binnendoor over een wandelpad bereiken (1,8km). Super koken ook op de gasbarbecue met zo’n uitzicht. Zéér sympathieke eigenaars die onmiddellijk bereikbaar waren en alle problemen in een handomdraai oplosten. Op de kruising van de Gare, de Ardèche en de Cevennes is er bovendien enorm veel te beleven. Raph
