Quaint older building, Staff was excellent, rooms clean and fresh, common areas were also nice. Be prepared as it is next to farm and a church which rings bells every hour.

Worth a visit

Staff seemed unable to cope due to busy period, and were not as friendly as I'm used to in the south of Germany. There was a wedding on too so maybe due to that. Stlfling hot in room, and room Aircon control was not working. Great place though, would go back.

Disappointing

This was a 1 night stopover travelling back from Italy. We booked late and when we arrived at 9pm there was no one at reception. Reception is not 24 hours but Hotels.com allowed us to book anyway. Luckily receptionist turned up and saw our late booking. He showed us to our room which only had beds for 2 people. We had booked for 3 people. Receptionist was very nice and helpful and set us up a 3rd bed, made of a mattress laid on cardboard boxes! When we got to hotel restaurant the kitchen was closed. Again staff tried to feed us but the food or 'tapas' as they called it that they could organize for us was pretty poor. The home brewed beer was excellent though. In summary the staff tried to help but was a poor experience.

Hotellet har två byggnader, en modern som visas upp i marknadsföringen, och en äldre och mycket omodern. Exvis fick vi rum på tredje våningen med en smal och brant trappa. Problematiskt för oss äldre. Alltså helt fel bild som hotellet publicerar.

Sehr gutes Essen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer im alten Gasthof hatte leider sehr viel Staub auf den Balken über dem Bett. Bei offenem Fenster ist er dann runtergefallen.

Regionale Produkte werden angeboten - wieso keine frischen Brötchen? Das sollte bei dem Aufwand, ein schickes Hotel betreiben zu wollen kein Problem sein, da mit einem Bäcker vor Ort einen Lieferanten zu bekommen. Da stört mich dann das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis immens. Und fehlende Einschließmöglichkeiten meiner Wertsachen - für einen längeren Aufenthalt.
