I just wanted to sleep but they put me in a shady adjoining room next to a crying baby and a couple that were trying to make another baby very loudly. The elevator was filthy. Lesson: Never skimp on hotel accommodations.

Nice pool but needs staff improvements

Pros-great indoor pool, awesome outdoor area, game room suite was nice. Cons-Staff was not professional or friendly -was told we couldn’t bring pizza into pool-why do they have multiple tables by the pool then? The game room TV remote didn’t work well, breakfast was limited and price was high for the overall stay.

Don’t expect much

Plenty of parking. Lots of room for trailers,RV’s, etc. Room was just okay. Walls are paper thin so be warned. Front desk staff was meh at best, no personality and kinda snobby. I prolly wouldn’t stay there again but if you just needed a bed for the night I’ve stayed in worse.

I don’t understand this hotels ‘average’ hotel rating (one of the highest) or the reviews 10/10 on cleanliness- maybe they were paid reviews, I don’t know. I do know the pictures have been edited that are shown online- that’s 100% true. Just my honest review, not to bash on this hotel, but we stopped in our tracks walking into the room & wanted to turn right around and leave. It immediately gave me bad vibes. This had a hurried, ‘cover up something’ vibe for sure! Hotel Transylvania is exactly what it reminds me of, especially with the cheap, gloss, black paint that is everywhere. The paint trim job failed miserably. There is so much paint where there shouldn’t be. Our linens had large stains right on top. Hair & debris in the bathroom & on carpet & dust all around the baseboards. TV is very tiny & everything just looked like ‘billy down the street’ built & painted everything. The bathroom IS newly renovated & has a nice lighted beauty mirror. They attempted a rain shower with partial glass which made for a very wet floor after showing. Front staff wasn’t the friendliest, but not rude either. I’m sure they were just tired. Housekeeping young girl was very friendly and nice. Brought us extra towels. We left early and didn’t stay the 2 nights I booked for the reasons listed above. This had a hurried, ‘cover up something’ vibe for sure! I do not stay in fancy hotels either. I just appreciate a clean place to sleep. Bought suits to swim, but never made it to pool-

The good: The bed was comfortable and the staff was really nice. The shower was nice also. The odd: I’ve never been in a hotel where the doors to the rooms and the ceiling in the room are painted black. It just darkened a room and gave it a strange vibe, not for the better (at least for me). The bad: The vertical blinds were broken, missing one slat and another kept coming off. The towels were very cheap, old, and so thin they should really be used for cleaning. The tv was older (according to the front desk) and I had to sit very close for the remote to work. The “guide” on the tv only showed channel numbers, no description. The AC was placed right by the bed headboard with no way to adjust the direction of the air. I had to put my bags on the bed to make a barrier so that it didn’t blow directly on me. The room was very inexpensive, but being a Wyndham, I did expect a little better.
