Booked a king size bed, was given a double. When I informed the lady at the desk, she said they didn’t have a king bed room and so they gave us a double that’s a larger room which is an upgrade. It wouldn’t have been as big of deal had she just told me upon Check-in instead of having me walk back from the room. Dishonest businesses don’t get my repeat business. The room was below average, they did not ensure bath room was filled with amenities. Not to mention the tub shower is rundown and needs to be replaced. The carpet is gross in the rooms. The bed was clean, but pillows were so flat that we couldn’t sleep comfortably. The hallways are disgusting and didn’t look like they had been cleaned in weeks. The Campbell House is a staple of Lexington and it’s ashame they haven’t spent more time and money to keep it that way.

Staff was good. Each Room needs a small bar fridge and microwave. Need a make up table immediately outside the bathroom. Had no handwashing soaps. Tv speaker sounds weird when you increase volume.. buzzing nose, ice machines out on 1st and 2nd floor with no signs saying out. Had to go to 3rd floor.

There is no one to help you with luggage. All of our rooms smelled musty. The hotel is old and needs a major refresh. Also they have the tiniest bathrooms - like NYC sized bathrooms. Positives- you could walk to football stadium and the bar was great but did close at 10 most nights.

Hotel seemed old and forlorn. Our room door was basically broken off the hinges. The door could only be closed by lifting the entire weight and shoving it closed. The staff appeared overworked and some were less than helpful.
