The hotel itself was great. Lobby was fun and clean. Breakfast was solid. Room was comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. The only isse I encountered was that if you don't leave your room in the morning before 10:00am, they won't clean. Full disclosure, I didn't request it but I also didn't think I needed to. But that was the only issue.

Yes, it's near the hospital, but if you don't mind a bit of a walk (or drive), it's also a good place to stay if you have business at UK.

Tru is a great cost-effective hotel! Room feels clean and comfortable, lobby is large with lots of room for guests to spread out. Only thing is because it’s nears the med center there were a handful of sirens/ambulances in the evening. I would still return to this hotel!
