Diamond in the Rough (in Libby, MT)

We had a great stay. The staff was VERY accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more. The place looks a little outdated from the outside but it’s been updated on the inside and the rooms are very nice.

BEST Hotel in 3 States!

I travel extensively for my business. This is hands down my FAVORITE hotel in 3-States (MT/WY/ID). From major city to small town, I’ve stayed in them all. I stay here every chance I get and a minimum of 4x a year. When my kids find out I’m going to Libby they want to come to stay at the Evergreen. Let me put that into perspective…THEY choose the Evergreen— there’s NO pool and it’s still they’re choice!! The charm and attention to detail is superb. No extra frills, it’s just the little things. Tasteful Decor, salt lamps, and locally made soaps and products. Excellent and friendly staff, BEAUTIFULLY landscaped (especially when things are in full bloom), clean and well decorated rooms, and THE most comfortable beds! Oh the beds!!!! This is Montanas best kept secret. Don’t think about staying here. Do IT! Trust me, you’ll love it as much as me (and the kids) do.

It has been years since I stayed at Motel and this was a wonderful experience. As a woman traveling alone, I do pay attention to how safe I feel in newer surroundings. I was completely at ease staying at this Motel! It was clean, comfy, and I will definitely stay there again.

I like that fact that it is centrally located and with in walking distance of the downtown area. The area is quiet, which is a huge plus. The room that my partner and I were in this trip could use a little work on the flooring (uneven in the bathroom) and the ceiling (looks like the drywall tape is failing). I heard that the owners are working on renovations so I don't hold it against. Great place to rest your head. 5 stars.

We really liked the simplicity that pur room had woth the essentials one would need. David was very nice and allowed us to check in early. The beds were soooo comfortable. Super nice staff! Shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. Close to food options. Close to fishing, boating and recreation options. I would stay there again. Not super fancy and near some major roads. But, for the price it got the job done.
