These two municipal gîtes (near a railway line) are located in the heart of the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park. The marshes flood in winter, and the entire village of Liesville sits on a peninsula! This village is one of the most iconic locations for witnessing this phenomenon. Liesville is also very close to Sainte-Mère-Église, Carentan, and Utah Beach, the famous D-Day landing beach.
