I love Kauai beach resort and spa because of the friendly staff which made our stay pleasant.The room was clean an very up to date and it was in a convient spot close to Lihue and Kapaa.

Gave poor overall rating due to the fact the lounge was closed the day before arrival supposedly for renovations not many options left when no renovations were known. Beautiful place with needed renovations. Pool bar was fine with short happy hour and closed at 6. Need more food choices. Staff good

Great looks and right next to the beach. Can’t body surf as there is too much reef. No room service. Daily Resort fees are way too high as the water slide is only open for a few hours and there is no pool side service. Rooms are ok - bathrooms were small and the shower area is old school. Overall a B- experience at best!

Staff was nice, hotel was clean & kid friendly. Great location although no swimmable beach there are 2 pools on the property.

Not a whole lot of good to write about this property. It is old and worn out, no beach to speak of, limited dining. Very poor check in. I’d not recommend this property.

Great location - close to the airport & convinient to explore the island; friendly staff, beautiful grounds and the pool. did not expect resort fee ($35 Per day), parking $29 per day. Would be nice to have glasses & real cups in the room

The property was gorgeous and the workers were amazing, but the beach was not very swimmable due to the strong current, rocks and big waves, making us drive to nearby beaches daily. Overall not that big a deal but don't expect to be swimming in the ocean right out of your hotel room.

They have at least three pools, plus a shallow sand pool. Two jacuzzis, music, valet parking we enjoyed our stay!

Had an amazing time at Outrigger. Friendly staff, great pool and hot tub, beach is right there. Located equal distance between north shore and south shore so you can make a day trip of either and take little stops along the way.

The pool area next to the beach is picturesque and the perfect place to spend a relaxing day. The staff are all so friendly and helpful.

The outrigger hotel is an excellent place to stay and it’s centrally located on Kauai to places you want to go

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our 5 night stay, very much. The staff was lovely, which is so important. Amanda at the pool bar was awesome and deserves recognition for being very aware of our parties needs, everyday! Our housekeepers were sweet and one was always singing quietly, which I loved because it reminded me of my mom. The things I thought could be improved would be the mattresses, the price for self parking and price/quality of some of the food we had at the lounge and the restaurant. Our mattress was very uncomfortable and slanted a bit at the top. We had a few good food items but also a few items that were not great and overpriced, specifically the steak and eggs and the fish and chips. The steak was tough and lacked flavor and I asked if the fish and chips were good abd beer battered and was toldby our waiter they were, which they were not. I received a pile of fries with 2 tiny, breaded fish strips that appeared to be store bought and not tasty at all. Not what I was expecting
