It would have been fine except that the only heat source was a gas fireplace and it took 3 hours to get the room up to 67 degrees. There were old baseboard heaters that did not function. We were cold most of the time. The manager did try to help but she couldn’t figure out even how to work the remote control for the gas fireplace. There was a huge storm our second night and the electricity went out throughout the entire city so in the end we were glad we at least had the gas fireplace. My friend had stayed here a couple of months prior and she said she also had the same problem with being cold. Great place other than that if you want a great view and don’t mind a place that needs updating.

Very charming place. It's a million dollar view and very pet friendly. Only $10 per pet per night. The bed was comfy, parking was easy. Is it luxurious? No. But it's comfortable and charming. I'll take that all day every day.

The good: nice cottage on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous view of the beach. The cottage is spacious and has a kitchen, a dining area, and an electric fireplace. The not-so-good: the staff is a mixed bag--some are friendly, but the lady doing the the night shift didn't even say hello. There is no housekeeping unless you specifically ask for it. And when I asked for late checkout, they gave me a whopping 30 minutes.

The staff was extremely friendly and ready to assist with any questions. As usual, the room was wonderful, spacious, with comfy chairs to enjoy the ocean view or the TV. The fireplace heater is just what these old bones need. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Parking was limited if you were staying on the “cottage” side of the property and you weren’t allowed to park on the motel side. Their definition of a cottage is not the same as mine it was a room attached to a main building. The actual cottages were lower and not mentioned in the reservations. So maybe call if you are wanting a cottage. Also there were bugs in our room so we had to be relocated. Glad we only stayed the one night.
