Ester Lee is quaint and old fashioned. If you don't mind old fixtures, rustic finishes, blend of 40's and 50's style living, no dishwasher in my unit (223), minimal kitchen ware (pots pans plates, bowls) it works and the view is pretty good, minus the power lines for some of the units that are set back. Bed was comfy, had windows that opened, most were street side, one was ocean side.
Unit could have been cleaner. I stayed in a dog friendly one and there was more than a reasonable amount of hair left behind on the floors, not a deal breaker though.
Overall, if you're not too fussy and want a good view with beach access, though steep, it's a nice place to stay.
