Very ugly hotel from the front (I think it must have been an old 1970's office block). The entrance at the front is weirdly upstairs from the reception, which is downstairs at a separate entrance. Anyway, the staff were very lovely, very welcoming. The room was fine, clean enough but very tired (heavily scratched desk, old carpets etc.) and the mattress was very lumpy. But having travelled for 12 hours from the Middle East, I could have slept on stones. So I slept very well. The Wifi is good, the T is good, and the heating works well, so it was pretty comfortable. For a 3* its what you'd expect.
