Welcome to our beautiful ‘Linton Retreat Bed and Breakfast’ in the most picturesque location on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail. Peaceful relaxing location with a beautiful outdoor spa in an enclosed spa house.

Linton is one of Country Victoria's best kept secrets, located 20 minutes to the nearest major shopping centre (Delacombe Town Centre) and 30 minutes to the Ballarat City Centre. ‘Linton Retreat’ offers our guests a contemporary peaceful accommodation in a wonderful bush setting, easy walking distance to the Linton shops and the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail at your door step.

We built this cottage specifically for guests to include wonderful views, peace with double glazed windows and elegant chic furniture. Our cottage facilities have all the comforts and technology to support your stay, with 2 smart TV's one upstairs and one downstairs, 2 split systems one upstairs one downstairs to ensure you are perfectly comfortable during winter and summer. There are two toilets with the first in the main bathroom and the second upstairs. To keep you connected we have free WIFI.

Our cottage can sleep up to 4 with a beautiful King Bed upstairs and two double sofa beds available. The 2nd lounge upstairs converts into a double bed with a Japanese divider separating the king bed and divan for privacy. If needed and downstairs the lounge converts into another double bed.

Continental breakfast is available for our guests and is complementary on your first morning. Other options for meals include bring your own for self-catering or enjoy Linton's Local Cafe, Pub or Takeaway.

Kitchen is fully equipped with self-catering and an external BBQ is available in an enclosed gazebo. Linen and Towels supplied, Dishwasher, Modern Electric Oven and Cook Top, Microwave, Tea and Coffee, Porta Cot, High Chair, Sporting Equipment, Board Games, Hair Dryer and Toiletries to name a few of the comforts.
If you are a bike rider, bush walker, gold digger, bird watcher you will enjoy Linton or just want to get away from the city our retreat is the place to rest. If you love history you can venture out with the ‘Walk or Drive Tour’ history guide available. We have many places to explore like ‘Devils Kitchen’ a rock outcrop.

The cottage has stairs and is not recommended for persons who would find the stairs a challenge although we have bedding and all you need downstairs. To keep the children safe, we have a latch on the upstairs bedroom door and for the adult’s peace of mind. Pets not allowed because we don't have an enclosed area. We have all you need to explore Linton inside the cottage with books and maps.
