These are rooms with private bathrooms in an old luxury apartment in an old, fancy building. Nice room with a balcony, very quiet. Host and maid are friendly and helpful!

Camera piacevole, spaziosa e funzionale in un edificio signorile, silenzioso e tranquillo. Fermata bus e metropolitana a 2 passi. Padrone di casa gentile e disponibile, ci ha permesso di tenere camera e chiavi ben oltre i normali orari di checkout. Consigliato.

Difficult to find the entrance to the B&B because there is no signage on the building. It is truly a bed and breakfast with a wonderful breakfast at 9 AM. Maybe it was us but we had trouble with the key to the apartment and the key to our bedroom did not work. :( Maria, the woman that prepared our breakfast, was very kind and gracious.

Affittacamere in zona di gran pregio di Lisbona (l'edificio a fianco è il Riz - Four Season). Personale premuroso, servizio e ospitalità degni di una Suite al Four Season (senza voler esagerare o creare false attese). Se l'alternativa di soggiorno a Lisbona, in luogo del classico Hotel, camera in appartamento con colazione è nelle Vostre opzioni, sicuramente è luogo caldamente suggerito. Personalmente: se in futuro avrò necessità di ritornare a Lisbona certamente rappresenterà il mio punto di riferimento. Una nota: stazione metropolitana a circa 700 metri con forte pendenza (come di norma per questa città)

Positive: Excellent location, lovely, clean and well maintained property. Maria who served us breakfast was very kind and attentive. Needs improvement: access into the property for check in was problematic and caused us and our friends a serious grief. Owner's reaction at first was very strange (he said he had some personal issues) but later he made it up and as a gratis he arranged for us complementary drinks in the lovely restaurant with fado music.

Zeer nette, grote en schone kamer en een zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke eigenaar. Als enige tip/opmerking zouden we kwijt willen dat een paar glazen oid op de kamer niet zouden missen net als de mogelijkheid zelf even een bak koffie te zetten. Mochten we ooit Lissabon nog eens bezoeken, komen we zeker terug!

Quirky and Delightful B&B

Had an amazing time in Lisbon. Accommodation is handy for Marques de Pombal station. Accommodation is quirky and entertaining, especially the antique fully working lift - worth staying just for this! Hugo the breakfast host is such a polite, friendly and helpful guy. A pleasure to meet you Hugo, and I wish you all the very best in your career!

Great B&B, valuable for money.

Great B&B. It was a big and comfortable room. The room was clean, bright and airy. Miguel, the owner was very helpful, providing us with loads of information for visiting Lisbon. He waited for us to arrive late at night. Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful room. Coffee was great. However serving breakfast at 9 am is a bit late for tourists. But i don't mind just leave without it. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

Sehr gepflegtes Bed-and-Breakfast im historischen Stil, erinnert an das Buch "Nachtzug nach Lissabon" . Alle sehr freundlich, Personal versteht z.T. auch englisch, der Hausherr nur spanisch, französisch und eben portugiesisch. Gute Lage gleich ums Eck von Interconti und Four Seasons, zu Fuß 1 Minute bis Parque Eduardo VII und 7 Minuten bis zum Metro-Drehkreuz Marques de Pombal. Kleiner Supermarkt, Bäckerei und Restaurant in 100 bis 200 m. Ins Bairro Alto 15 Minuten zu Fuß, in die Baixa 25 Minuten, oder mit der Metro in 5 Minuten. Trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Niveauvolles leckeres Frühstück in schönem stilvollen Porzellan. Historische Einrichtung mit alten Kunstwerken.

A room in a rather grand and elegant apartment in illustrious company behind the Intercontinental and 4 Seasons Ritz Hotels. Had to make our way to the 2nd floor and entrance a little dark and foreboding but OK once we learnt there were light switches on the walls. An old, small lift which takes about 3 people at most, so we preferred the marble staircases. A very spacious room and bathroom/shower with classic Portuguese furniture and parquet floors but also partly modernised. Had a little balcony but no TV and tea-making facilities in the room. A continental breakfast served on best china in an impressive dining room. Quite an experience. Wifi was available on request. The owners speak very little English and we got by on a little German but think they spoke French too. Didn't really miss the TV as we had plenty to do in Lisbon but did miss tea-making facilities, a bin in the room and a cup/glass in the bathroom, I'm sure they can easily be added. The apartment is close to Parque Eduardo VII and the start of red sightseeing buses. A five minute walk from Metro and about 20 mins walk into town centre. We like walking and it was a little hilly but so much of Lisbon is hilly, so not a problem for us. Good location for the Gulbenkian and their mini 'Kew' Gardens, Estufa Fria. Enjoyed our stay in a Portuguese apartment which added to the Lisbon experience.

B&B done well.

This is a residential unit and the initial contact with the owner needs to be coordinated. Staying here affords a real experience of life in Lisbon. From the cage elevator to the Sino-Portuguese decor staying here is a unique opportunity. More affordable than the standard hotels with a charming host and a great breakfast you just can't go wrong here.

Das B&B ist eine Wohnung mit zwei Gästezimmern, Einrichtung überall antik und im englischen Stil, unser Zimmer leider mit einer kaputten Jalousie, wird auch nicht so bald repariert, dadurch kaum Tageslicht im Zimmer, dafür super Frühsrück
