The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. She was chatting for some time with someone before waiting on me to check in, and no apology for the wait. I advised her I had a dog and needed to pay that fee (knowing the hotel accepted pets was the reason for booking). She told me it would be a $75 fee, which I was aware of. She then charged me $100. I was so tired I didn’t realize until after getting to my room. I called the front desk from my room phone (which was filthy) to inquire, there was no answer. I had received a text to my personal cell phone from the hotel asking how the room was (not sure if automated or not). I texted back my confusion regarding the charge. No reply. About 10 minutes later I called the front desk from my work cellphone and she answered. She told me the $100 was the charge for incidentals, and that if nothing as wrong, I would receive a refund for the $25 difference. I’ve put cards down for incidentals, it’s never only been $25, and there’s usually like $1 charge for the hold. Doesn’t make sense. Will dispute if necessary.
Bathroom was filthy, there was someone’s fake eyelash on the floor.
