The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this charming 175 m² farmhouse for rent in Livarot, which can accommodate up to 6 guests. It comprises a lovely 50 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower) and a garden of around 4,000 m². Wi-Fi, sheets and towels included – we look forward to welcoming you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 50 m² living room with lounge area (sofa, armchair) and dining area
- A fully equipped kitchen with: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, blender, hob, etc.
- A bathroom with shower and toilet
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 1: with 1 double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: with 1 queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 3: with 2 single beds and a work area
- A games room adjoining a lounge area (TV, double sofa bed)
- A separate toilet and washbasin
For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional equipment: barbecue, washing machine, cot, high chair, two booster seats for children over three years old, games for all ages, ironing board and iron, Nordnet Wi-Fi hotspot and Wi-Fi 7.
Outside:
- Large enclosed garden divided into two areas:
Around the house (2,000 m²): shrubs, flowers, well-maintained lawn, three terraces including a porch, garden furniture (tables, benches)
Small adjoining meadow (2,000 m²): perfect for playing, reading, picnicking or taking a nap in peace and quiet
- A games room (separate from the main building) with table tennis and games area
The house is ideally located in Livarot, in a very pleasant environment. You will have access to all essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. A car is essential to enjoy the surrounding area.
Activities:
- Simply relax: an ideal haven of peace for doing nothing — nap in a hammock, sipping cider, listening to birdsong, admiring the view of the meadows... and occasionally a tractor in the distance.
- The sea is 40 minutes away: Deauville, Cabourg, the D-Day beaches — seaside leisure activities, culture and history within easy reach, without the crowds.
- A thousand years of heritage: Castles, Norman manor houses, churches, monasteries... The entire history of the Dukes of Normandy to the present day is there to be explored.
- Abundant nature: Hilly bocage, houses built with local materials, hiking trails, farmers' markets, renowned gardens (including a rare Blue Cedar in ours).
- Sports activities for all: Cycling (bike rack provided), running, horse riding, hiking, and on the coast: kite surfing, beach, sailing.
- Lively local cultural life: Friendly cafés in Livarot, festivals, concerts, exhibitions throughout the Pays d'Auge.
- Accessible cities: Le Havre (museum and modern architecture), Caen (William the Conqueror's castle), perfect for cultural outings.
- Norman gastronomy: Exceptional products, appetising markets, small, hidden restaurants and delicious discoveries along the way.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private car park (up to 3 vehicles).
For other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:

- Nearest airport: Caen, approximately 60 km away
