Clean and comfortable hotel near Liverpool One.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only issue was a member of housekeeping came into our room when we were out and moved our things around. This really annoyed us. There was no need to come into our room. If we wanted housekeeping we would of told reception. We told the manager who apologised and said that the person responsible has been told not to do it again.

Lovely hotel. The lady at the check-in desk was friendly and professional. Overall, the cleanliness was good, only thing is, I found an orange stain on one of the towels in the bathroom when we got there. Great location, very central but still nice and quiet. The breakfast was nice. We would stay here again.

Don’t expect too much

The location is brilliant, unfortunately when you ask for simple things: for example room is missing towels for the number is booked for. Had to ask for Loo roll as no spare. Even after asking things aren’t delivered to the room, instead we have to pester the receptionist a couple of times. Went to breakfast 30 minutes before the end time, no bread or pastries left, no cutlery, no napkins instead a couple of staff were sitting together having their breakfast.

Convenient location and very helpful staff

Went to Liverpool to visit our son studying at University. The Holiday Inn Express in Duke Street was a very convenient place to be. Very central for exploring the city - you can pretty much walk everywhere. Don't expect from Holiday Inn Express as what you would get at the Holiday Inn. Breakfast feels cramped and rushed - so many people in a small space. Parking is also a bit of a pain - couple of streets away, but the folk at reception can help book parking for you at a discounted rate. The staff at the Holiday Inn Express are very friendly and helpful. They do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Liverpool 1, Albert Dock and city centre. Hotel is very clean, staff are helpful and friendly. Great value inc breakast, which had a wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from!
