Only a one night stay for an old boys’ association dinner but everything was great. The hotel couldn’t be handier for Lime Street station, the building is magnificent, the staff I met were friendly and helpful, my room was small but comfortable and well equipped, all in all I couldn’t fault it.

Pros Comfy bed Amazing black out curtains Large shower with good toiletries Good hairdryer Water, nespresso machine First hotel I’ve stayed at where you don’t hear slamming fire doors every morning when people go for breakfast! Cons Went out at 9am - had clean room sign, still not done at 330 so had to ask someone just for water and coffee which is disappointing. Head towels way too small (especially for Liverpool) maybe some flannels would be nice Pillows on bed - there was only 3 and 1 did not have a protector on.

this hotel is 9.2 on your website. Not possible. They have a kiosk check in which did not work. Was not offered an upgrade even though there were rooms available at check in as a Platinum Hotel.com customer. Room showed Nespresson machine in the room I booked which they did not have Just kettle and instant coffee. No showering Gel in the bottle in the shower was not filled. this is not what was expected from what was advertised
