Irish boss so rude and intimidating stay clear

Had a cancelled flight so stayed till me daughter came home from her separate break with house and car keys , staff were very friendly but I was ill and flu with temp so I asked for laundry bag to keep housekeeping safe mattress protector was clean but I removed it to laundry bag and was accused of staining the bed even though I went through menopause 7 years ago and tried to explain under no circumstances could the stain be mine , even though the sheet and mattress protector had no stains, as retired NHS nurse got Bottle of TCP and washed all surfaces down as best I could with the white flannel from bathroom that by the end of my deep clean was black, a rude head of housekeeping brought 6 different members of staff into the room to look at the stain changed the matress and also the owner in who charged me £150 cleaning fee which I paid because he threatened to charge more to my card I’d had a viral chest infection I was a solo disabled traveller and the Irish Boss spoke down to me trying to intimidate me because he had my credit card on file so be aware you can leave the room cleaner than you arrived strip the bed because you have had a viral chest infection and temperature find a sock and a vape that was not mine under the bed filthy windows and sills and still charge you extra and accused me of stealing a pillow so I opened my suitcase to prove I had not then checked out got told to wait out in the cold for my taxi so guests wouldn’t hear the bosses rudeness to me !

Despite the pictures: the room was cold, mould was present, the sheets were dirty and there was blood. The view was roof tops and the balcony next door in our viiew was badly damaged. The picture over the bed which can be seen in the advertised hotel pictures was missing and just 4 screws left. The wallpaper was peeling. This was an executive room in a 4 star hotel! Says a lit when the standard is better ina. Campinelle or other budget hotel. The hotel rejected my complaint, clearly indicating that they are happy with this extremely poor standard. I have pictures but cannot upload unfortunately. Oh and if you value your sleep, you are close by to a noisy night life area. Breakfast is in a different property. Whikst it was tasty, it wasnt worth the money e.g. one sausage

The hotel in its self is beautiful although there is really poor lighting in the rooms. The bedding was damaged and somehow managed to be put on inside out. There was clumps of hair all over the carpet too. Staff were extremely helpful

After the storm pushed our travelling plans a day earlier we needed a last minute hotel & we were very happy with got this hotel. It was amazing value for money, close to everything & as we needed to kill a few hours before our other accommodation was ready they held onto our bags for us. Extremely happy with the hotel & staff - definitely helped to ease the stress after a very long day of last minute travelling.

The room itself was lovely and clean. Very comfortable. The staff offered little information on check in about services and how to find room. We prepaid for breakfast but we're only given a small portion with was not worth the cost.

Anfield Match Day

We booked for family of 2 parent and child for match day accommodation. Hotel room was on the lower ground level room was clean and no complaints. The room had no window so factor this into play if you care.

Very affordable, beautifully comfy bed and any extra bits we needed for the room, we got with a smile from the staff. Absolutely love this hotel and will continue to use it when in Liverpool.
