The location I cannot fault however, the room and amenities was not four star standard. There was a musky smell in the room and must point out the bottled water mentioned in the description was not included.

Exellent centre location

I was happy with the room it's self clean and tidy but I rang room service for a drink and was left waiting for 2 hours even after ringing them back time and time again

A bit disappointing for such a lovely hotel.

Stayed over for a night, paid online threw this website to save hassle when we got there when we arrived there was loads of hassle with paying for the hotel. I was told I hadn't paid for the hotel and had to sit around and wait for reception to sort it out, eventually it got sorted. When getting to the room we walked in to two single beds when we had ordered a king size bed room tried to ring down to reception serveral times and had no answer so had to go down to reception to complain about the beds, I was then told the beds just zip together so someone will be up to do it shortly had to wait a while for this and the beds basically just got pushed together with a gap in the middle which was extremely uncomfortable. Rooms don't have iron or ironing board which is quiet annoying for such a lovely hotel, tried to ring down to reception again and no answer so had to go down and ask for one told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait to send someone up had to wait at least an hour and a half and I was waiting to go out. Room was very loud, could hear absolutely every noise. Water kept flushing out of toilet, not sure whether this was just cleaning it self or what but it was really irritating. Shower kept dripping. Fire alarm went off twice 2oclock in the morning and again at 8oclock in the morning, I understand this isn't the hotels fault but it just made the stay even worse. Not usually one to complain but I expected better from such a beautiful hotel.

Great location

Great location. ..very close to city centre. ...only downside was apartment was on ground floor which was directly above some kind of party/function ...music very loud until late...very hard to sleep. Very friendly staff

not luxury living

Blocked toilet that couldn't be used. Had to ask for cups, cafetiere and milk for tea and coffee tray and then only cup was provided. No mirror in bedroom and no socket in bathroom so unable to style hair for night out. Row of lights above bathroom mirror not working. Lighting in bedroom very poor - dull and dingy. Outrageously expensive considering all of above. All of the above was reported during our stay and nothing was rectified. Still waiting for a response to complaint made to this site and to hotel.

Need to focus on the basics

The hotel appears to focus a lot on its look with bold colours and design features. Lack of attention given to the basics e.g. there was no hot water and signs of poor workmanship. On the positive side the use of the spa across the road was a plus (although again no hot water) and breakfast was good. With futher work this could be a good hotel and bring the experience in line with its pricing.
