We had high expectations for this hotel based upon what we read and we were not disappointed. Location was perfect for exploring Ljubljana during the day and for the vibrant evening social scene. The staff were responsive and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and well provisioned. I can't imagine a better hotel in Ljubljana.

The hotel was excellent. It was centrally located and close to the main sights. The hotel itself was quiet, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay but although 400 years old it’s like any other new hotel… This was the only thing that was disappointing as the staff and breakfast was lovely. It is also in the pedestrian zone so if you have lots of luggage it can be a tough walk.

Excellent property. Staff great. Ultraconvenient to everything we wanted access to (Tivoli, Zoo, bus station/train station, major points of interest/shopping, and restaurants; we walked everywhere. Zoo would be an easy short bus. We had a car the first night and parked it in a safe underground parking garage at a nearby LIDL without issue and only a 5-10 minute walk away. There is no parking right next to the hotel.
