The hotel is tired and it does need some refurbishment and perhaps more attention to detail. The presentation of the exterior is poor. Generally, the decor inside is way past its sell by date. However, on the plus side, the place was nice and warm and there was plenty of hot water. Tue room was adequate with no frills. Staff were pleasant. It was ok for a single night or maybe two. I can't comment on any dining or other facility as we didn't take advantage of those. I was happy with what I paid. The place needs a lot spending on it to be frank.

Room was verging on shabby, dead bolt didn’t work, shower barely worked, very limited breakfast, no fruit or cereal - just fried dead animal. Not disability friendly, stairs only to most rooms. Check out was very early at 10. Not obvious on website have to book parking. Had to argue with receptionist before she sorted somewhere out for us to park our car. Very expensive hotel and zero quality.
