It’s located just a short distance from Llangrannog, with its beautiful beach, welcoming pub, fantastic eateries, and amazing scenery—there is plenty to enjoy. Perfect for a family holiday, you can spend all day on the beach enjoying the sea, whether it’s swimming or surfing the waves. This part of Ceredigion is known for its wildlife, and it’s not uncommon to spot dolphins offshore, seals along the rocks, and a wide variety of seabirds overhead. Llangrannog is also home to the Urdd with its activity centre, where visitors can enjoy the facilities, including a dry ski slope.

Penbryn Beach is also nearby and is a stunning, unspoilt stretch along Cardigan Bay, known for its natural beauty, clean water, and peaceful setting. It’s owned and managed by the National Trust, which helps preserve its landscape, wildlife, and traditional character. Enjoy a leisurely day at the beach and then a wonderful cake and coffee at the café at the top.

The beach has also been used as a filming location, with many films being shot along this dramatic stretch of coastline. Its wide sandy shore, dunes, and surrounding countryside make it a popular choice for productions looking to capture authentic, untouched Welsh coastal scenery.
