Making a great base for exploring the breathtaking landscapes at the heart of Powys, this light and cheery retreat lies in a beautiful riverside spot alongside a group of similar properties. The stylishly arranged pod is perfect for anglers who will have exclusive fishing rights along a mile-long stretch of the tranquil River Irfon. The area has a wealth of stunning walks, with opportunities for nature lovers to spot the local otters and a wide range of birdlife including red kites at the feeding station in Rhayader (17 miles). The holiday park lies in a secluded spot midway between the Brecon Beacons and the Eland Valley, both within 20 miles and featuring glorious scenery to explore. Both the quiet spa village of Llangammarch Wells (2.5 miles) and the popular market town of Builth Wells (6 miles) are within easy reach, with a choice of fantastic pubs, restaurants and tearooms.

A couple of shallow wooden steps lead you into the pod and through to the cosy, fresh and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom, beautifully decorated in warm neutral shades. Light pours in through the patio doors occupying the far side of the room, with a relaxing lounge featuring a comfortable sofa. There’s a sociable dining table in one corner, opposite the stylishly arranged kitchenette which has a wealth of useful equipment. The main living area also features a delightful double bed, with the sofa usefully converting into a handy second double bed. The accommodation is rounded off with an invigorating en-suite shower room.

From the main living area, patio doors lead out onto the cheerful enclosed deck offering beautiful far-reaching views for you to enjoy. There’s also a brick built BBQ area and a table and chairs, perfect for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon. Parking is available for two cars, with puck stands for motorbikes. Exploring the campsite, there’s a range of shared facilities, including a launderette and shower block, with paddleboarding, angling and access to the River Irfon.
