Our room was clean, staff at check in and check out was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is worth the stay. Waffles, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, toast, juice, milk, coffee and pastry options... Located near several other dining options both sit-down and fast food. Centrally located to river and other attractions. A/C very cold. They have a pool but we didn't use but looked nice. Only negative would be our sink leaked and we told staff. And shower water temperature would switch from cold to scalding hot unexpectedly. So be careful. Overall I would recommend

staff warmly welcomed us and our dog on a late night arrival. the room was comfortable enough, with good climate control and amenities, quiet throughout the night. there was however a large roach that had expired right in the middle of the floor upon entry, and the room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned recently. decent overnight stop that served its purpose but wouldn’t stay longer.

I was in Llano for the Crawfish Open. Needed a clean room with good a/c and a hot shower. Didn't spend a lot of time there but it was just what I needed. They are currently doing some renovations/updates so I expect it will be even better next year. Not a luxury hotel but a good base from which to explore this neat little city.

Lonestar Inn is in the middle of a renovation. The room I was in was one of the newly renovated rooms. Very nice and clean and surprisingly quiet. There were a couple of glitches: the phone and coffee machine didn't work. And there was a broken window. The staff were very polite and friendly. I would visit again.

Staff did not know how to look up a reservation from Expedia. They were remodeling the whole property when we stayed. The people hanging around the area were sketchy at best. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Bed bugs found in the bed.

We stayed here for 2 nights and on the 2nd night I tried to take a shower. The shower did not work! When we checked out, I let the lady at the front counter know. She argued with me instead of trying to rectify the situation. Absolutely unacceptable customer service!
