Welcome to Applewood Lodge! This beautiful cabin is located 5 miles away from Old Man's Cave!

This spacious cabin, is custom designed with interiors that highlight the beauty that only Hocking Hills can offer. Applewood Lodge is located in a wooded location that's central to the local attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Take a soak and enjoy nature in the private outdoor hot tub with outdoor fireplace for the perfect couple's retreat or family getaway! Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Hocking Hills State Park. A hot tub, laundry facilities, and an arcade/game room are available. The cabin offers free WiFi and a kitchen.

Lovely home in a secluded setting. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and pool table. Lots of space and stocked perfectly for cooking meals and enjoying family time. Easy drive to area attractions. Good communication with host and listing was accurate.

À family of six people (three generations) had a wonderful time in a very spacious and beautiful home. We enjoyed the hot tub and a fire place on the deck. Grilling and sharing a meal near the fire place was so special and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for a daily cooking. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful. A very pretty Christmas tree with a few other decorations added a charming touch to the beauty of this place. Precious memories are in the books of 2025. We are very grateful for everything. Happy New Year!

The cabin was chilly in the evenings/nights, and the thermostat would not allow us to increase the temperature above 68 degrees. Could have used more blankets to help with the chill. The upstairs bedroom did not have clean sheets, the top sheet was all wadded up at the bottom of the bed under the spread. Gross. We used a comforter found in the laundry room (clean) for on top, as it was too late to wash the sheets when the issue was discovered. washed the sheets the next morning. The crockpot was missing the knob, was very difficult to turn on/off. Other than these few negatives, we were very pleased with the cabin, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is in excellent condition and easily accommodates 4 adults. Clean and all appliances (including hot tub and gas grill) are in good working order. The first-floor plan is open and spacious, with a great table that could accommodate 12 or more people while also providing plenty of additional counter space. The fire pit is an especially good amenity as it is spacious and easily accessible from the front porch. The photos and listing are accurate. Host was pleasant and communicative. We plant to return to this location next year.

Nice place, just like the pictures! Clean cabin. Everything we needed was there, including a gas grill (which was not pictured). Good proximity to Conkle's Hollow. The only watch-out is that the neighboring rental cabin's fire ring is 50yds away, so you might hear your neighbors.

Cozy retreat

Property is clean and roomy. It’s conveniently located. We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. It did snow while we were there which was beautiful but it did make the driveway area slick as it’s pretty steep. Crews cleared the road by the next day.
