Blue Rose Cabins - Lincoln Log Cabin

Nice two bedroom unit with DirectTV, Wifi, hot tub, firepit, grill, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and one bath. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be within walking distance of Hocking House. A hot tub and laundry facilities are available. The cabin includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

We were excited to get away a couple days and just relax. The area outside is beautiful and peaceful. Inside not so much. We stayed 2 nights and wish we hadn't done the 2nd night. This place is outdated. The furniture is worn out. Cracked with holes in the cushions. The central heat would kick on and sounded like something coming thru the vents. The ventilation vent in the bathroom sounded like the roof was coming in. So much dust and dirt everywhere. The place hadn't been swept. The room corners had dirt in them. The carpet was filthy in the bedrooms and needs removed. A throw rug in the bathroom was disgusting. The tub had hair in it and also on the shower walls. The walls in the rooms needed wiped down. The floors were sticky, thankfully I had slippers and didnt have to touch it with my bare feet. There was an AC unit in the window. It didn't fit. There were holes big enough for something to crawl thru. I stuffed paper towels around it. We were so excited to get in the hot tub yesterday afternoon. We got ready and went out to get in and relax. Pulled the cover up and it was warm but the water was brown. It was disgusting. We were so disappointed. The refrigerators freezer was dirty gross. It looked like it had never been cleaned. I understand this is out in the woods. But this place was so disappointing. I sent a message thru explained these things and never got a reply. I would not recommend this place or any of the other properties of Blue Rose. The condition is sad.

The house was not very clean, the cleaners dumped their bucket of soapy/dirty mop water on the wood porch directly outside teh front door. It was slimy and nasty. They also threw swept up dirt and debris off the side of the porch in a pile. One chair on from porch is broken, the hot tub smelled like it was shocked so we did not use it. The bed was horrible, the dishes, utencils and pans were nasty. Cleaner left a dirty rag in the kitchen sink, can only imagine what they wiped with it. Neighbors (cabin owned by same people) were very loud early in the morning, loud Mexican music playing through the woods. Power was out for about 12 hours.

This is a secluded and quiet location. There were good and bad things about our stay. Everything was in order as we entered. It was nice and warm inside, the temperature was set perfectly. It did have that old cabin smell to it, which took awhile to get used to. We noticed as time progressed how dirty the floors were. You quickly find out once you get in the shower and see all the dirt coming from the bottom of your feet. The bed we chose to sleep in was less than comfortable. When me and my wife got into bed, we both were pulled to the middle. The mattress could use an upgrade. Furniture was older and not very comfortable to sit in but we made do. The bathroom was clean though and plenty of clean towels and washcloths were provided. Afterwards we did look at some of their other cabins online, some of them looked nicer than the one we chose. At this time we are unsure if we would ever come back again.

Dirty, old, smelly. The VRBO ratings for this place are a joke. It’s at best 2/10. Needs completed updated. Appliances are junk. Furniture is junk. Place was filthy. Would not use again or recommend.

Host did not respond to my inquiry about linens. “Luxury” is not a word I would use for rusted appliances, mattress so broken down it was unusable, dirty freezer, used scrubber for dish washing, light bulbs out, knob to turn on bedside light missing…shall I continue? 300/night was robbery!!
