We had a couple of issues that were not about to be resolved during our stay. Most problematic was the garage disposal was not working upon out arrival. This caused the sink to drain incredibly slowly, making it challenging to cook and do dishes. The hot tub was also not working. This was disappointing as it was a feature we were looking forward to using.

Hocking Hills Family Trip

This property is perfect for a family vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you need to cook. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax. It’s about a 20 minute drive to hiking making the location ideal. With that being said, my only caution is that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is a must. In paragraph 6 of the description, it’s suggested to use a 4 wheel drive vehicle. This needs to be the first sentence of the property description. Admittedly, we missed that in the description and had a stressful start to our trip. A regular vehicle will not get up the driveway. It’s extremely steep with loose gravel and deep ruts.

Great stay in Hocking Hills

We had an excellent stay at the Luxe Haus this weekend. The house was a short drive to Ash Cave as well as other popular hiking trails within the park. We had 4 adults and 3 children and had plenty of room. The house was extremely kid friendly with several kids games as well as a good assessment of kids dinnerware. The hot tub was very relaxing after hiking and the Golden Tee arcade game was a cool touch that kept kids and adults busy. The owner checked in several times during our stay to see how things were going and the check in/out process was extremely easy. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this house!!!
