Hocking County is a very rural county with curvy and hilly roads that require cautious driving. The roads leading to the lodge are paved two-lane highways along with 1 ½ lane gravel scenic roads that may require a 4-wheel drive during inclement weather or any significant snowfall. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.

The Woodlands at Hocking Hills-Magnolia Grove Lodge offers its guests a hot tub, barbecue grills, and local meal delivery service. The front desk is open around the clock.
