INTRODUCTION:
El Rincón de Frida, located in the charming Plaza de Martínez Zaporta, one of the oldest squares in Logroño, in the Old Town. Next to the emblematic café Moderno. It is in the heart of the old town, 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the famous Calle Laurel. The tourist office is at the end of Portales street, the main artery of the old town and where the square meets, a street full of life with terraces, restaurants... You can visit the Mercado de Abastos, a beautiful building with an original Art Deco architecture, 2 minutes walk away.
Loft with double bed and a sofa bed, flat screen TV with cable channels, WIFI and fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, fridge, washing machine, oven and toaster. Towels and bed linen are provided. There is an interior terrace.
On weekends it can be quite noisy as it is located in the leisure area. During the week it is quiet.You will be in the old town of Logroño, less than 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral, the market and the most famous tapas areas, Laurel and San Juan. Being right in the centre means that it can be a bit noisy at times, so keep this in mind if you are a lover of silence and tranquillity. It is an ideal place to enjoy and immerse yourself in the lively life of Logroño.Forget the car! It is also a lively nightlife area with bars and terraces nearby.Parking: we have parking spaces right around the apartment, available with prior reservation for €15 per night. In addition, in the surroundings you will find several paid parking lots, and a free public parking a few meters away. Please note that the street is pedestrian, so we recommend considering nearby parking options.
Supermarkets and other points of interest:less than 300 meters from the accommodation, you will find a Carrefour Xpress, ideal for your daily purchases. Also very close is the San Blas Market, a beautiful building with Art Deco architecture where you can buy local products from the region. Also, on Portales Street. You will find right around the corner, on the corner of Santiago Street with butcher shops, the Cipri grocery store, a little store with all the charm and seasonal products of the area. In front of the old Town Hall, you will find La Luci, a store that offers typical and artisanal products from La Rioja, perfect for taking home a souvenir from the area.
