Family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful house with spectacular views. The pool was brilliant and so convenient to have the pool house also. Marina was very attentive. The perfect place for 3 generations to enjoy a family holiday.

Family Vacation

The chateau is absolutely lovely - beautiful setting and lovely hosts. Quaint villages surround, so easy to run to the bakery or grocery, and easy drives to Le Mans, Chenenceau, vineyards, etc. Highly recommend!

A beautiful and unique stay

The gite at the chateau is beautiful and well equipped with the pool and games room for kids and adults of all ages! The area is lovely and very interesting, just a bit remote so it's useful to plan ahead for meals and shopping.

Stunning views and a really fabulous pool!

When we first saw the photos we went “wow” but when we saw it for real we were even more impressed! The Chateau and it’s surroundings are truly breathtaking and the owners are doing a great job renovating and making improvements. The pool area in the converted orangerie is a great example. There were two toilets, a shower and a small kitchen and large dining area. Lots of room to spend all day at the pool. Inside the Chateau the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. There was even a laundry room - which was handy as we were a family of 9 on this trip. If you have someone who is disabled or struggles with stairs then the downstairs bedroom and en-suite were fantastic. Overall we had a great time, including lots of great meals in the lovely dining area. Many thanks for your hospitality, Marina and Phillipe!

A delightful week in the Chateau

A beautiful historic house in a picturesque setting overlooking the valley. The hosts, Marina and Philippe, were very welcoming. We had a great week walking in the surrounding countryside, visiting nearby towns or just relaxing by the swimming pool. We hope to visit again.

Shhh, don’t tell anyone

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chateau. We have been coming to France for decades and I can defy say that this is the best equipped. Marina and Philippe were able to be very versatile with bed combinations which, with 5 children, made our bedtime so much easier. The pool is superb and the pool house again wonderfully equipped. The area is beautiful and with a rich history to explore. Would love to return

AMAZING!!

The property is beautiful and even better than the pictures. There is so much history in this exquisite home. It is updated with comfortable and new bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. There is character in the historic wood floors and stonework. The owners are fantastic and outstanding and extremely kind. They went above and beyond for us and made our stay incredible. The spiral staircases may be difficult for people with limited mobility, but the downstairs bedroom has been outfitted with a large and accommodating bathroom/shower for those differently abled. Be sure to enjoy the sparkling pool with newly renovated pool house
 as well as ping pong and foosball in the basement. I already want to return!

Beautiful chateau in a tranquil setting - magnifique!

This was the perfect place for a stay with our extended family. The chateau is beautiful and the gite section has been very sensitively refurbished so it keeps all of its original charm whilst providing every modern convenience. The chateau provides a spectacular view over the river valley, which can be enjoyed from all the major rooms in the gite. The chateau owners, Marina and Philippe, were very welcoming and the check-in/departure process was a breeze. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful setting.

Incroyable!

This is a magical property. The listing photos only hint at the beauty of the chateau and the views that greet you from every window. Wonderful, Beautiful Chateau

We recently had a wonderful stay at Chateau De La Flotte. The Chateau is beautiful with rich history. The interior retains its historical charm with modern, upgrade touches in the bathrooms and kitchen. The interior was spectacular. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Only 10-12 minutes from the village of La Charte-sur-le-Loir where several restaurants and shops are located. There were a total of 5 of us with an additional 2 friends joining us for two nights. We had ample room with the 5 bedrooms, large kitchen and numerous sitting areas and dining area. We hope to return soon for a longer stay. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Chassany are wonderful!

Excellent accommodations, excellent value!

Marina and Philippe have created a magical holiday space and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. It was our most favorite stopping point in France this trip. The historic Chateau is truly first class and better than we could have imagined. The bucolic views were unforgettable, like oil paintings at each beautiful window. The kitchen and baths are new, very tasteful, fitting and comfortable with everything we needed. It was such a great location for us. Even in December/January we managed to visit Chambord, Chenoncueau, Villandry, Ambroise and Tours to get an excellent taste of the Loire Valley. We highly recommend!!

Excellent sĂ©jour sous tous les aspects. HĂŽtes charmants et arrangeants. Court séjour avec des amis et en famille

Excellent WE au chĂąteau de la Flotte. MalgrĂ© un temps mitigĂ©, nous avons pu profitĂ© de la piscine chauffĂ©e et de l’orangerie trĂšs bien restaurĂ©e et amĂ©nagĂ©e avec goĂ»t. Pour nos 3 familles de 4 soit 12 personnes, le gĂźte est idĂ©al. La vue depuis les piĂšces de vie est magnifique. L’accueil et les conseils des propriĂ©taires ont largement contribuĂ© Ă  nous faire passer un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able. On recommande vivement !!!

TrÚs agréable séjour en automne

Excellent accueil de nos hotes et dĂ©licate attention Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. TrĂšs beau chĂąteau, dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t avec vue imprenable sur la campagne Sarthoise. Nous avons sejournĂ© Ă  12 dans le gite du chĂąteau de la Flotte lors des vacances de la Toussaint (enfants, ados, adultes et grands parents). Le gite est trĂšs propre, trĂšs confortable et bien amĂ©nagĂ©. TrĂšs bon couchage, trĂšs grandes salles de bain, chambres spacieuses, cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e, grande salle Ă  manger et grand salon avec poĂȘle. La chambre au rdc avec sa salle de bain attenante est idĂ©ale pour des personnes ĂągĂ©es ou Ă  mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite. Alors qu'il a plu et fait frais une bonne partie du weekend, nous avons trouvĂ© le gite trĂšs agrĂ©able car bien chauffĂ©, bien isolĂ© et chaleureux. La salle ping pong et baby foot a Ă©tĂ© apprĂ©ciĂ©e des petits et grands. Les promenades dans la forĂȘt avoisinante (GR), nous ont permis de profiter des paysages aux couleurs de l'automne et de voir des biches. Un endroit Ă  recommander. Nous esperons y revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la piscine.

Un week-end d'exception

Le site, exceptionnel, a fait l'objet d'une rénovation soignée et respectueuse des bùtiments historiques. Les piÚces ouvertes à la location sont toutes dans un état impeccable avec des équipements de qualité (salles de bain, cuisine) et les accessoires sont à profusion, excédant largement les besoins d'un week-end de quatre jours. La piscine et l'orangerie qui la longe sont un lieu de détente et d'amusements pour toutes générations avec la vallée du Loir pour décor en arriÚre-plan : MAGNIFIQUE !!!!

Traumhaft!

Eine wundervolle und außergewöhnliche Zeit. Das Herz schlug schon höher als wir bei Anreise das tolle Schloss am HĂŒgel erblickten. Die Zufahrt zum Schloss hat die Vorfreude nochmals gesteigert. Am Schloss wurden wir sehr herzlich von den EigentĂŒmern begrĂŒĂŸt. Sehr nett und ausfĂŒhrlich haben wir den Teil des Schlosses (Ferienwohnung) sowie Orangerie, Swimmingpool und Freizeitraum erklĂ€rt und vorgestellt bekommen. Die Ausstattung einfach nur toll und sehr reichhaltig. So viel Besteck, GlĂ€ser, Geschirr etc. hatten wir noch in keiner Ferienwohnung. Die Beschreibung und Bilder auf der Internetseite geben die Schönheit der Zimmer und BĂ€der nicht wieder. Wir sind mit 8 Erwachsen gereist und haben alle Zimmer belegt. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und haben das außergewöhnliche Ambiente sehr genossen. Wir wĂ€ren gerne lĂ€nger geblieben.

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© l'ensemble du sĂ©jour dans un environnement exceptionnel. IdĂ©al en famille ou entre amis. Les derniers travaux ont permis d'ajouter un espace piscine trĂšs agrĂ©able, dont nous avons Ă©tĂ© les premiers Ă  bĂ©nĂ©ficier, et dotĂ© d'une belle orangerie restaurĂ©e comprenant tout le confort nĂ©cessaire : cuisine d'Ă©te, salle Ă  manger d'Ă©tĂ©, sanitaires et douche. A noter que les Ă©quipements sont accessibles aux personnes handicapĂ©es. Les propriĂ©taires du chĂąteau sont extrĂȘmement attentifs et comprĂ©hensifs.

Super week-end entre amis dans un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avons profitĂ© de l'extĂ©rieur au grĂ© d'une promenade en forĂȘt et d'un barbecue . J’ai louĂ© ce chĂąteau pour mon club de lecture. Nous avons tous Ă©tĂ© enchantĂ©s par ce cadre magnifique chargĂ© d’histoire. Les chĂątelains ont trĂšs sympathiques, hospitaliers et flexibles. Le chĂąteau est magnifique et tres bien entretenu, avec une mention spĂ©ciale pour les mobiliers de qualitĂ© et les intĂ©rieurs dĂ©corĂ©s avec goĂ»t. Un grand merci. Nous avons hĂątes d’y retourner !

Super séjour.

Super séjour. Nous avons séjourné à 6 adultes, 5 enfants et 1 bébé. Nous avons pu profité de cette grande propriété super bien aménagée et super bien équipée. Les hÎtes sont adorables et ont répondu à nos demandes. On a pu profiter de la piscine, du molky, des boules de petanque et des visites aux alentours. Je ne peux que recommander cette location.

Accueil au top, personnes charmantes, et surtout un endroit exceptionnel, tout a Ă©tĂ© refait Ă  neuf, fonctionnel, dĂ©corĂ© avec charme et trĂšs bien Ă©quipe (exemple : enceinte Bose dans le salon, Ă©quipements cuisine, etc..), et l'emplacement gĂ©ographie idĂ©al pour des visites / points d'intĂ©rĂȘts Ă  <10km.
