They were under construction.

The staff was absolutely super friendly. Even the manager went out of his way to do us a favor. My only complaint is that they were under construction. Even though they did their best to work through it and not be an inconvenience to the guest, which they did.

Great spot

There was construction going on and I appreciate that, but it didn't hamper our stay. Found a few hairs but nothing major in the tub. Will stay again in the future. It's a great spot for what we needed. Continental breakfast was great (Eggs and Bacon).

Breakfast was not the greatest, hotel room (2 bedroom)was very spacious and comfy bed. Pool was small but clean, with towels being refreshed during our stay. Pool washroom were too far from pool. Renovations were being done but there was no noise. Staff were friendly.

There were wonderful things about this hotel and mediocre aspects. The renovation not a problem. The room was large and comfortable however, not the room I booked. We booked the suite with 1 king and 2 double beds - I was excited that our family of 6. We got a suite with 2 kings. This change was not mentioned when we checked in and when I went to see what happen, I was told that room doesn’t exist at this location. I was mostly disappointed in the lack of customer service related to the concern - why not tell me when I checked in that the room was not available? Why did I need to come down to investigate?

We were not told this hotel is under renovation at the time of booking. We did not receive the room we booked and although the exact room we booked was available on the website we’re not offered the room we wanted. We were given a cot bed as an alternative. Rooms were nicely renovated, however floors were dirty from renovation. Breakfast was not as advertised and times not provided. All food cleared out by 930 am, very early! We had to try and get our teens something else. Check in was pleasant, but after that I rarely saw anyone available at the front desk. We had no housekeeping although definitely saw someone in the halls. Not even towels refreshed. Stayed two nights. I hope the renovations finish soon, this property has promise but needs some serious work to communicate with guests more clearly, better effort to clean rooms even during renovation and customer service.

The hotel is under construction with dumpsters and storage pods around the property. Furniture piled in common areas. A broken air conditioner sitting in the middle of the hall. There is a general sense that the hotel is low on linen. No sheet was in our room for our pull out couch. Only two bath towels per room for 4. The pool had no towels at all. We had to ask and call for each of these items and waited up to 30 min for delivery.

Staff was excellent. I stepped on a piece of broken glass that was on the ground beside my bed. After inspection I seen broken glass all behind the night stand and bed. I'm guessing it was from a previous guest. Breakfast was meh and the place was underconstruction but the price we paid reflected that. I would stay here again as the staff and room features made up for any missed clean up. We were also on the 5th floor so I would not be shocked if our room sat vacant for awhile lol.

Property was under construction and our room was clean, but we had no chairs for the table, missing pillows and unplated outlets. I waited about 20minutes to check in because the front desk person was dealing with someone smoking weed on the third floor which left the smell in the elevator and hallway to find out the guy had been put on the same floor as my room. Someone was playing loud gospel music and singing loud in the hallways and kids were running around in the hallway until midnight. Am hoping the property gets better after the construction.

The jacuzzi suite had been freshly updated. Nice kitchenette, and newer floors. We very much enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi tub. The buffet breakfast was way below average, even for a free hotel breakfast. The pool was closed. The front lobby was cluttered with boxes and building materials. The "fitness facility" only had 4 machines in it. 3 of them were broken. Staff was very nice. We've stayed here a number of times in the past 10 years, so we've noted the slow decline and disrepair of this hotel. Hopefully, if a few repairs and some maintainence happens, and a little more attention is paid to detail, we might conside staying again in the future.

Unfortunately the property is undergoing renovation that seems have caused a lack of towels. There were no towels available at the pool and only one in our room. Though we were eventually able to get towels they seemed to be struggling to keep up. The food was also low availability and cold. The staff were trying their best with the difficult situation.

A deeply disappointing stay due to major security lapses & poor service. Most alarming issue was someone unlawfully accessed my room. When I reported it to the front desk, I was initially told CCTV footage would be reviewed. An employee in housekeeping confirmed seeing someone enter my room & then quickly exit via stairwell on the CCTV. However, when I followed up again I was told CCTV system was down due to renovations, and no footage existed- completely contradicting what I was first told. To make things worse, there was no management or supervisory staff on-site to handle this serious security issue. The lack of oversight also meant no one was available to manage the chaos caused by unsupervised kids staying for a local hockey tournament. They ran through the halls, overused elevators, knocked on guests' doors & then run away. The situation got so out of hand police were called by another guest. Beyond these security concerns, the hotel fell short in several other areas: ROOM KEYS CONSTANTLY DEACTIVATING-had to be reprogrammed multiple times. BASIC AMENITIES-towel shortage affecting multiple guests, housekeeping removing towels without replacing them BREAKFAST AREA-tables dirty, food & beverages not replenished, only one staff member to handle. This stay left me feeling unsafe & frustrated. I expected much better, especially with guest security & basic hospitality. I won’t be staying & wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone until they address these serious issues.
