Upon checkout the staff tried to charge me $200 for smoking in the room. I didn’t smoke in the room plain and simple. I think they do this to tourists regularly. The man accused me of lying and threatened to call the police. I asked him to please call them (I wasn’t hiding anything) and so he did not call the police. We went back and forth of me just telling him I didn’t smoke in the room and the landlord saying I’m a liar and that I have my whole life in front of me to stop being a liar. Anyways I still didn’t smoke in the room. The landlord handed me a coke and said “you go now”. I declined the soda and left. Otherwise without the attempt at false charges the resort was probably a 2.5/5 maybe a 3. The room was clean but the tv did not work and I wanted to watch football Saturday and Sunday evening so I just went to a restaurant instead. The exterior doors don’t lock at night and it’s slightly a strange area of town. Not too bad but a little edgy for the doors not to lock. The hallways reeked of cigarettes from the actual smoking rooms which is why I picked non smoking lol. Also just FYI the motel is extremely anti marijuana if you are looking to partake on your colorado trip. Stay somewhere else. I wouldn’t return for $80/night

The bed was extremely comfortable and soft, but they really need to update their bedding and curtains.

There was not a coffee maker in the room, had to go to the lobby.
I thought there would be shampoo and conditioners in the room and there wasn't so, I had to purchase those, but other than that the stay was nice. A place to sleep and shower.
Felt unsafe, bad location. Weird smell in room. Very outdated.

Difficulty making myself understood to front desk. Flight was delayed so i missed 10 pm check in. Called office to advise i would stay at airport untill they opened in morning. They couldn't even tell me what time i could check in in morning... they kept repeating "in morning". When i arrived in morning, the overcharged my card and had to revert transactions. This was all after 15 minutes of them trying to get me to come back at 10 am for check in of next night even though the night before was paid.
There was an attempt at making things comfortable and clean ,but the property is old and needs a facelift. The bed was comfortable, but there was no stopper in the sink and the carpet tacks had to be covered in the bathroom doorway. For the price I would have expected a few amenities like shampoo, coffee in the room, a phonebook.
There was a micro and fridge. The scoop for the ice machine was sitting high atop the machine, and when I reached for it I was showered with ice water from melted cubes.
The counter person looked are sleepily and had no comment when I told him and suggested the scoop be kept on a hook on the side where it was accessible but wouldn't accumulate melt from cubes. We do not plan to stay there again.

Low rates, charming wooden ceiling. A good enough spot to rest.
Pretty bare bones
I don't know why this place only gets two stars. My room was comfortable and spotless. The service was great. It's older and admittedly smells a bit like cigarette smoke in the hallways. The particular part of Longmont it's located in isn't the greatest, but for the price, it was totally worth it. Why someone would blow $150 or more for an overnight stay somewhere else blows my mind. I only paid $78. Great deal.
the staff was nice and tried to be helpful. the room was overpriced. the bed was uncomfortable. we asked for extra pillows because they were flat. the vacant lot next door was a homeless camp. there was no room to park our trailer so it was next to the homeless camp (made us nervous). there wasn't enough parking for our truck so it too spent the night with the homeless.the air conditioner was right next to the head of the bed and made for a bad night sleep as it went on and off every few minutes so we had trouble sleeping.
Motel is old and very out dated. You get what you pay for I guess. Ad said king size bed but it was a double. Very few outlets so everything (tv, fridge, microwave and lamp) all plugged into a power cord that was too short and just hung there!
