"Water's Edge" Charming lakeside cabin on Lake Wabedo

Welcome to “Water’s Edge”. Enjoy this private, newly renovated 2-bedroom, 1 bath cabin on beautiful Lake Wabedo, just outside of Longville, Minnesota. The cabin sits on a 1.5-acre lot with 100 feet of shoreline and a mere 30 feet from the dock with a spectacular view of the lake. The cabin is both heated and air conditioned. The open floor plan features living, dining & kitchen areas where you can enjoy a southern view of the lake through the expansive picture window and full glass patio door. Cozy up in front of the wood burning stove on a chilly night & enjoy free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, French press, blender and drinking/cooking water dispenser. Step right outside the patio door onto a 2-tier deck overlooking the lake, which features lounging and dining areas right on the water’s edge. Just a few steps from the deck and you’re on the dock. The shoreline bank is rocked to the water. Enjoy watching the sunrise over the lake with your coffee from a bench at the end of the dock or the glider on the deck. A step ladder attached to the dock can be used to access the water and hard sand bottom, for swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding. The area around the cabin is level with a gentle elevation to the lake. A lakefront open fire pit and picnic table are available for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. We will provide cut wood for the wood burning stove and campfire. (Please do not bring your own firewood, by MN law). A gas barbeque grill is included for your use.

If you bring your own boat, you can launch easily at the public boat ramp just 3 miles down the road and tie up to our aluminum dock. Two kayaks and a paddleboard are on the property and available for use. Wabedo Lake connects to Little Boy Lake, another beautiful lake you can access through a connecting channel. Nearby Little Boy Resort & Campground is less than 1 mile down the road and offers a full line of boat rentals, gas, bait and a tavern.
