Right when we walked into the room, it had a terrible mildew smell. When we talked to the front desk, they said that that’s just how the room smell. Luckily we were only there for one night. Would not stay again. At that price point it was ridiculous.

It’s located walking distance from the Universal shuttle and metro station. The Staff were friendly and very accommodating. They checked us in early and were able to hold our luggage on the last day even after check out. Would recommend to friends.

Not worth it

Check in was easy. Parking is extra and is tandem parking (WILD) so you are expected to leave your keys. Rooms are nothing more than a motel. This place is NOT worth the money.

Easily walkable to Universal shuttle. A couple good places for breakfast to walk to within minutes. Grocery store, too. Room was perfectly clean. Front desk & housekeeping staff all polite Bathroom sink needed maintenance attention - quite slow to drain. It seems that certain finishing people for the renovation were not very skilled; it showed in the bathroom where the shower shelf was installed on a severe angle & door frame trim was cut more than 1cm above floor.

Staff is wonderful and the hotel is cute and conveniently located. Rooms are a little uncomfortable with very thin comforters, hard floors and loud ac/fridge units. The shower is also odd and water doesn’t drain efficiently. The pool is small and in the garage but still enjoyable enough.

Never again, lesson learned.

Terrible check in got charged a bunch of hidden fees got charged for alcohol that I do not drink and double parking situation sucks. The hotel was going under “renovation” but really it looks like they just ran out of money there was no furniture in the hotel other than the beds that were super uncomfortable and moved around every time you moved. Ended up checking out the next day and leaving home it was so bad, loud air conditioner kicked on and woke me up all night

The room was comfortable, spacious, clean, and there was new construction. However, they charged an addition $58.00 after I had already paid $329.00. 35.00 was for parking and $23.00 was for miscellaneous. I have never experienced this high of a parking fee, and I have never paid extra money for miscellaneous items. There was water in the room but we didn't drink it because there may have been an additional charge added to my room. It seemed like they were trying to get people to buy alcohol from their bar which may count for the extra fees, but I don't drink alcohol.

Decent hotel

This hotel location is very convenient. The condition depends on the room you are getting, if it has been partially renovated or not. We had a few issues. Our shower handle did not work so we couldn’t get any hot water, we asked the front desk to have maintenance take a look while we were at the park and came back to a working shower. The coffee machine inside the room was broken. The coffee machine in the little shop downstairs, to purchase coffee, was horrible. It didn’t work and the drinks were not right, save your money there. If you drive, you do have to pay to park and it’s pretty expensive. The hotel room was pretty dang clean and didn’t have any issues there. It’s a great location and a good place to stay if you want a deal where it feels safe, it’s clean and a good place to crash when being at Universal all day.
