Nice views, old mattress and bad customer service

The mattress is old. When I needed to call the front desk they never answered. The cleaning lady was supwr nice and helped me with my inquiry. The restaurant charges a 20% tip regardless if you had great service. That's a rip off.

Convenient and Satisfied

Very convenient location if you are taking a cruise out of Long Beach. They do have a shuttle to the cruise port, but it was a nice day and there is a nice path that goes there so I took a walk and was there in maybe 15-20 minutes. If you’ve never had the famous Doubletree cookie, it’s worth going there just for that alone. The attached restaurant was VERY pricy, but if you factor in an Uber ride to and from a different place to eat, it’s the best option. The food was good. And they had sizable portions. The room wasn’t super clean, but it was manageable and I’ve seen much worse. The staff was all very helpful and courteous. They also have a business center with a computer and printer that I used at no cost to print boarding passes for the cruise. I will stay here again next time I cruise at Long Beach. Also, there is a jet ski rental place right on that path. $110 for 2 hours. Had I known about that, I would have taken one for a ride!

I absolutely loved this stay! Beautiful property. We took the free Passport bus into downtown for food as the restaurant options were pricey and the selection was limited. They offered a free (tip your driver) shuttle to the cruise port. Overall a great experience and I would recommend the stay!

This is a unique property. I loved the view of the water and the fire pits around the property grounds were very relaxing, especially on a cold night in January. The staff was awesome. If you’re looking for a relaxing staycation or a pre-cruise option, the Hotel Maya is for you.

Normally dont like rooms that open to the outside but this was ok. Rooms were nice size but a little dated with popcorn ceilings, worn wallpaper and chipped paint on furniture. The view was great and you can walk along the water to the Queen Mary. It must be fun in the summer with the jetskis, little beach setup, firepits and outdoor dining. January it was a little empty.

The hotel and staff were nice. The brought extra towels when requested. Our toilet did not work. It is not walkable to other food or amenities, you just have to get transportation. The shuttle to cruise ship was very nice.
