Staff was very courteous and helpful. Lobby area was comfortable, well lit, and generally pleasant. The carpet in the room, however, was extremely dirty. It needs urgent replacement.

BEWARE of the cockroaches roaming through the bedroom at night, coming from the outside straight under the entry door. And I'm talking about longer than an inch brown ones... Very fast as well, and it took me 15 minutes to kill a few. In the morning, when I told the staff about cockroaches, they just shrugged with "oh, you saw them". Obviously a common occurrence... At the time of this writing, the property is under much-needed renovation in some rooms. The hotel room is very big, almost huge, with a fridge and a microwave. We got the room on the second floor, and it had a terrace. AC was newer, but right next to the bed, blowing directly on it, so it was not ideal. The mattress was lumpy. Carpet is as old as a building. Same for bathroom vanity and peeling wallpaper.

We liked that it was really close to universal studios and there was a lot of different option to eat. What we didnt like was mostly the surrounding area and parking was okay. Just wish the parking lines where more wider.

Clean room , staff was nice and helpful. Arrived at 12:30 and was able to check in early for only $10 parking was $5. The area was safe and clean many stores near by and the bus stop was really close if you plan to not drive around in car.

The staff was super friendly, and we appreciated having access to coffee and water in the lobby. We enjoyed some pool time, but spent the majority of our trip out and about with our local friends. The room was overall fine, but in need of a deep clean. The linens (sheets and towels specifically) were good, but the pillows (lumpy) and blanket (holes) could do with replacing, and there was a thick layer of dust on the walls. We'd likely stay here again if we aren't able to stay with friends while visiting the area in the future.

I marvel at the hounding the customers relentlessly for reviews for improvement ? How many does it take? The shower has not enough pressure to rinse your hair, the air conditioning unit kept shutting down on its own refusing to start… I requested a upper floor and they stuck me in 122 a shoe box a depressing shoebox! Since June I’ve stayed here over a dozen times ! But you wouldn’t know it.
