Great restaurant. Good value. Beautiful property. They do a good job of masking freeway noise, but it is not quiet. The bed was ok, but not the most comfortable.

The hotel was ok for a 2 night stay though it seemed dated and tired despite a recent rennovation. We were visiting family and friends and it seemed like the best value. But we were disappointed by a breakfast that had very limited, bland offerings, and that the deadbolt in our room did not work. PALM GARDENS was cheaper than other 3-star properties and the beds were comfortable, but it didn't feel like a 3-star hotel and therefore, was notcthe great savings we expected.

I've stayed at this hotel many times but this was the first time I was given a room on the back side of the property which butts up against the very busy 101 freeway. My room did not have trees to buffer the freeway noise (hello sleepless night). Needless to say, I "upgraded" my room the next morning for a fee. Wasn't too happy about that.
