NIGHTMARE ON VAN HORNE ST
I have a chronic illness whose worst symptom is insomnia that exacerbates all my other symptoms. So sleep is a precious comodity for me and the first communication I had with the host of this property was to ask him if it was quiet? His reply was something along the lines of no complaints. Somehow he’s deleted this part of our text messaging from the thread that I still have access to which is symtomatic of the kind of deviant he is. I also asked if he had a space heater to which he replied something else that’s no longer on the thread but it was in the affirmative I’m know. But both of the answers to these questions of mine turned out to be false. There was no space heater and the neighbors across the street were partying like 1999! Kids screaming and crying, parents yelling and music blairing. The house is on a corner with no driveway and crowded street parking. The walls are thin and buses run by regularly. I’m sure it would be ok for some people but not many because not all of us are so able to cope with such things and so the host lies to his prospective guests in order to rent this bummer of a vrbo! I didn’t even try to sleep there, had to drive home late at night and then had an accident in my home thanks to this el Diablo of a landlord!
